I distrust contractors who tell a woman one thing, and a man another... don't get me started on my roofer. Anyway, I was not prepared for all of the work that goes into a house, even though I did a lot of research. My job is so high stress, that I probably should have gone with a condo. However, I love my gardens, being able to walk down to the basement in my bathrobe, and have dinner on the back porch on a whim. So, I'll deal with the repair/replace/fix/ touch up stuff, so I can enjoy the rest of it.

Actually it was yesterday, but I've seen it happen over and over. How can you take your young children somewhere for an extended visit and not have anything for them to play with? You have their food, change of clothes, diapers, sippy cups, and no toys? Really? Yesterday I had two 4 year olds and a 2 year old with nothing to do. There were also 2 babies in the crowd...but I didn't have anything for them. Luckily I had a few stuffed toys for the older ones to clown around with, but I don't have children, and all of my toys have been taken to school for my students to use during indoor recess. How hard is it to keep a couple of things in the diaper bag?

I was only trying to get a screen shot to post here. Now that the video has been posted, it's not necessary.
