  1. My first RUSH album was ASOH and honestly to me for a VERY long time that's what I thought of when I heard "RUSH". I mean holy crap there's so much going on in songs like Turn the Page and Marathon and it all just blew me away that only 3 guys were doing it all. Synth era is very highly-rated with this guy!
  2. I don't know a ton of Fleetwood Mac albums but of the two you listed I'll choose Rumors. And of the ones I've heard I'll choose Tango Into the Night.
  3. Hang in with it. Seasons 3 and 4 are great :ebert: Just finished Season 2's "runner" episode with the lady on the run being phone-filmed by everyone. Very good. White Bear. Blew my f***in mind. Those screams will haunt you!!
  4. Yeah man, that was a hard watch. I went in order, and when that came on me and my wife were all "What the f**k are we watching???!" My favorites so far are White Bear (the runner one), the one where you can review your memories like DVR, the clone one (which was creepy), and the one where the blackmailed kid is running around doing crazy things. NOBODY could have seen that ending coming, no way.
  5. This whole show is indeed a dumpster fire. I like 3 or 4 characters and most of these episodes are not very good. SMG as Burnham is tough to watch and can't hold a candle to (dare I say it) even Sisko or Janeway.. Season 2 should just be Saru and Stammets flying around, with the MU Georigo in the brig with a dash of ghost of Culbert floating around.
  6. I actually prefer the prequels over the "tweaking" Lucas did to the originals. He probably said to himself: "Wow hey look I have 3 out of 6 shitty Star Wars movies, why not have 6 shitty Star Wars movies!?". Biggest offenders: The new Jabba music video, Superimposing Hayden Wooden Anderson or w/e as a force ghost, Adding a terrible CGI Jabba into a Han Solo scene that should have never been taken off the cutting room floor, Replacing the entire Ewok party scene at the end of Jedi, Vader's "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" when he tossed Palpatine overboard (that might be the #1 worst change he's made now that I think of it), etc. I'm all for added windows to Cloud City corridors if they have to but those added scenes were TERRIBLE.
  7. Seven Star Wars films for me. I, II, and III don't exist for me. So you count the shitty disney star wars movies but you do not count George Lucas episode 1,2 and 3 that is a part of the story 4,5 and 6? It´s people like you that made George sell the rights of Star Wars to Disney, its because people like you that destroyed Star Wars. Not it's not people like him who made Lucas sell the rights. It was Disney offering him four billion dollars for it. He would have been stupid to turn down the offer. It's also not people like toymakers fault that the recent films aren't as good. He had nothing to do with the making of them. That's the idiot script writers and director who don't know how to make a good cohesive movie. I'm just referring to the newest one myself. The issue with the franchise is now there will be too many different directors getting in on the Star Wars thing and that's what will ruin it. George Lucas is not calling all the shots anymore so there will be no clear direction for a number of these movies going forward. No no no, toymaker was behind everything. He’s the Palpatine of TRF! :hail: If you guys did not know it. In the 90s, when George had released episode 1,2 and 3. He got a lot of shit, people followed him and said that he had ruined their childhood. People that called them self for fans. And people are still talking shit about episode 1,2 and 3. Even tho it is many years ago since they was made. And this made George tired of people talking shit about his movies. George have said this in interviews. So that is why he sold the rights to Disney! Not because of the money, because he could earn that on his own, with making more movies! They're talking shit because the prequels ARE shit.
  8. I hate to say it, but YES there's just way too much Star Wars now and not the good kind. It's getting so watered down, it sucks. I loved the original trilogy and part 7 was pretty fun (if not original) but 8 was just so-so. Rogue One had no endearing characters aside from that one droid and that hurt it big time. The new SOLO trailer did zero for me at all. Another prequel? Why? The only thing that movie seems destined to do is crap on the legacy of Ford's Han.
  9. Honestly my theory is that I hope the Discovery is some sort of time ship that's come back from the future to retrieve Burnham and then go back to a post DS9 / VOY era. When you think about it, it sort of makes sense. You have tons of secrecy, way too many science officers, the ship is basically brand new-looking, they have some sort of mushroom drive tech that works like the Iconian gateways, etc etc. That's what I hope this all amounts to.
  10. Pretty much this and DT's Awake album for me. Helped me get through a tough divorce so now it's hard not to think about it whenever I listen to it again.
  11. You're the only one who thinks that, The Cure are legends or at least they are to basically everyone I've ever known who knows anything about music at all.
  12. Besides Losing It which I think is more sad than dark, what on Signals is dark? The Weapon maybe? Signals to me has this certain sonic quality which would be like how a movie like Salem's Lot looks. Grainy and cool.
  13. Oh c'mon TC, you know how that rabbit feels.
  14. The same guy who thought "He doesn't love you, he wants to put you away in some box" or whatever I think :D
  15. It means they ran out of tight leather pants for James to wear.
  16. Hopefully the air raid horn makes an appearance!
  17. Same here and I don't know why. I saw the Astonishing tour and thought it was friggin' awesome. I almost wonder if subconsciously I'm afraid to see James attempt "Another Day" in front of my daughter and crash & burn :fury:
  18. Hendrix only released 3 albums. Yet he is considered one of the greatest artists ever. I think 5 albums of mostly great material qualifies them as among the best. Didn't the Sex Pistols only have 1 album? They're supposedly the best punkers ever from what I hear.
  19. So anyhow I wonder if they found the rest of the GUP tour footage in Count Floyd's coffin or something? I want to see Red Lenses and etc. in one-half D.
  20. I'll take a dozen of those. LARGE! That's what she said.
  21. I like their punk / rock vibe more than their Jamaican stuff too. Visions of the Night, Synchronicity 1, No Time At All, Landlord, Peanuts, etc. All great stuff and not a hint of doobie or dreadlock to be found. Example:
  22. Actually, I agree with you about them being underrated. If they get too much hate though, I would think it's on account of Sting. Yeah maybe but it takes 10 Stings to equal 1 Bono when making a douchebaggery basket so I don't mind him.
  23. I'd say they are rated right about where they should be, and that's not an option on this poll :) I love The Police. Without Copeland's drumming style the whole thing doesn't work. Without Sting you'd have like 3 songs (and we've all heard Andy sing!!). Andy's playing is really creative and binds it all together. Talk about a band that's way more than the sum of its parts.
  24. OH! I was so excited for a moment there, I thought you said he was critically injured.
