  1. QUOTE (tas7 @ Oct 27 2012, 04:29 AM) TBE???? The Body Electric Yeah, when folks use initials for songs on this forum I tend to get a headache trying to figure out what the heck they are talking about! Limelight is probably my favorite Rush tune so I am happy to hear it every show...just like The Spirit of Radio! We should get The Pass tomorrow night in Cleveland which I am looking forward to as well!!
  2. I had two friends bail. Similar reason (byougir) mentioned in their post - My friend works for a power company and has been called to NJ for prep work. Anyway... C124 - 4th Row (Row 18) Seats 9&10 Cost is at $95 each. I will absorb the fees. Decent seats. PM me
  3. I have to ask...How did you manage to score these tickets?

  5. QUOTE (edolecki @ Oct 16 2012, 04:20 PM) I'm curious if anyone has ever seen Neil and partner riding into town for a show. I'd love to see him pull aside me at a light sometime next week in Boston... I'm trying out heated grips What do you ride?
  6. QUOTE (Powderfinger @ Oct 15 2012, 02:04 PM) QUOTE (FOH Lights @ Oct 15 2012, 10:51 AM) QUOTE (bscsmkr @ Oct 15 2012, 07:45 AM)So no filming took place then? A rumor is just a rumor It made sense to me when I originally read it - 2 nights, hometown show, day off in between, the band is playing exceptionally well and most importantly Geddy is sounding great. I hate that they film towards the end with Geddy's voice is blown Geddy sounds so good this time around because he discovered that his diet was causing problems with his voice. They/he tweaked things a lot before the tour and IMO, he sounds better than he has in the last 3 tours. Interesting. Can you elaborate? Less dairy? More CHICKEN!
  7. QUOTE (Tick @ Oct 11 2012, 07:05 AM) QUOTE (LedZep @ Oct 11 2012, 07:51 AM) Yep, traffic jams suck. I remember the first time seeing Pink Floyd in Philly ages ago - traffic came to a standstill on a bridge (I-95) and we were there for what seemed like an eternity. Worst part, we could see the stadium (outdoor) and see the lasers and lights when the show started.... we missed almost half of it. I am thankful I was 20 minutes late and only missed 1 song. Got lucky on that one. Too bad they didn't open with that Diane Sawyer song eh?
  8. QUOTE (limbo @ Oct 10 2012, 12:36 PM) all items for sale are for this tour only. You will not find anything from past tours. And yes they do have size s- xl XXL available as well. Sadly, I know this first hand.
  9. QUOTE (Vinda-lou @ Oct 10 2012, 12:51 PM) So those of you who got the VIP package, list what you bought at the concert even while expecting the swag to show up in the mail sooner or later! dude? Are you trying to hijack my thread topic?? Just kidding... I bought a long sleeve T, 2012 Baseball Jersey, car window star man banner, and a T for my son.
  10. QUOTE (jacob's ladder @ Oct 10 2012, 11:19 AM) Without going into specifics, it looks like I will have an opportunity to meet the band after one of the upcoming shows- I'm pretty excited but nervous at the same time. I think a quick 'hello' & 'you guys are the best' might be appropriate. I will try to get a photo & post it after the meet & greet. Why wouldn't you go into specifics? Are you talking about a meet and greet or something else? You said meet and greet, but you also said after the show which is a conflict. They do the meet and greets before the show.
  11. QUOTE (canadianice @ Oct 9 2012, 10:40 AM) Why not?, it would match Alex's new rug.
  12. Still no swag for me. However, I did leave a hoodie by accident in the hotel room in Chicago when we checked out on September 16th. Two weeks later I called and they shipped it to me. So I have at least received some swag from my VIP experience. Albeit I already owned it!!
  13. Yeah, this is getting a bit annoying.
  14. Message me if you are interested in tickets for the RUSH show at Quicken Loans Arena on Sunday, October 28th. I have two extra tickets in C124 Row 18 (4th row of this section) Seats 9&10. Price on Quicken site is $112.25 each. I am selling them for $100 each. Seating chart link below... http://theqarena.com/tickets/rush_chart/ They are great seats. I scored some tickets in my company's suite so I am unloading these. I bought them through a friend that has CAVs season tickets so WE save on the service fees! They are Flash Tickets so you would need an account to transfer the tickets. Easy to do. I have already transferred 4 tickets. Let me know if there is any interest. I will need to sell these as a pair.
  15. had not seen that. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Can someone explain how a ticket agency in Texas can get front row tickets...at least 12 of them to a show in Cleveland, Ohio? They are currently up on eBay. How do they get these tickets when the majority of us have to go VIP route and not know for months where we are sitting? Maybe a rhetorical question, but this really baffles me.
  17. I figured it would arrive by now since we are nearly two weeks into the tour. So far a no show. Anyone?
  18. Sounds like they are really having some great shows. Chicago Saturday night was up there with one of the best shows I have ever seen by them! R30 is still way up there! Looking forward to Toronto!
  19. To add some "data points" to the VIP... I ended up in the second row section 2 seats 1 and 2. Alex was right in front of us. I booked my tickets right at sale time and received confirmation at one minute past. I was surprised we didn't get front row, but after talking with several around us they told the same story of their booking. A guy in the front row told me the same story with the caveat, "I type fast". A couple in the 7th row booked about 10 minutes past the hour. Thinking about it, I would have preferred our second row over front if it meant being on the sides..section 1 row 1 seats 1 and 2 for example. Also, I think for smaller markets booking at sale time may have meant getting front row center. I could have done VIP in Cleveland, but I am going to that show with a group of eight people. Chicago it was just me and one of my sons. Great show, great experience. I will do VIP again, but likely in a smaller market.
  20. I liked the idea, but seriously, couldn't they have hired some smoking hot chicks for the strings? We all know that shows are generally a sausage fest so some hot chicks would have been nice!
  21. This first picture is one of my favs. My 15 year old son took these. We had a great time! http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k433/dad2trips/fdfdba3002314451a6e6dc21981fe7c4.jpg http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k433/dad2trips/4f60f1250a550ec27fc39e3a607a4abd.jpg http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k433/dad2trips/1353d4329e06ce4fb14a4c2d51cfdb56.jpg
