  4. QUOTE (Bamba @ Apr 17 2010, 11:05 PM) Hey guys! Yes the pre-sale is on Tuesday and general sale on Friday. BTW if u r a big Rush fan why would you go and pay serious money to sit on the lawn section? Come on! Been there, Molson Amp, and if it gets windy good luck with the sound. I don't know if we need a password or a specific credit card (usually Amex) to access pre-sale tix? Anyone has more info please post it here. Bamba from Toronto All other presales are using Citi Bank cards. I'm still not seeing Livenation indicating that presale starts this week.. http://www.livenation.com/edp/eventId/420986
  5. Very cool, very awesome! Enjoy the show!

  7. QUOTE (theguyincygnusx1 @ Apr 16 2010, 05:52 PM) QUOTE (tripdad @ Apr 16 2010, 05:47 PM) Where is someone finding April 20th? Livenation still list as Unavailable and Ticketmaster does not even list Toronto. ^^ That guy up there said he called Ticketmaster and they said pre-sale is April 20 and regular tickets are April 23. We're all just relying on his word Well I hope he is wrong. I have an all day meeting on the 20th. That said I have already told the boss my wife ha an appointment (based on Pittsburgh pre-sale) and I won't make the meeting until around 11:00. Not hearing good stories on pre-sales anyway so maybe I will wait for the regualr sale. Ah hell, I got to take a peek though!

  9. So far me and two other buds are riding the bikes from NE Ohio up to Toronoto for the Saturday show. PM me if your interested in meeting up along the way. We are leaving on the Friday.
  10. Buy a VIP Package and you will meet Alex and Geddy.
  11. Pittsburgh and Columbus for example have more information at Live Nation... http://www.livenation.com/artist/rush-tickets
  12. Three for me! Toronto, Columbus or Pittsburgh, West Palm Beach
  13. Will the moderators be adding this as they had done for past tours? Seeing miscellaneous threads about specific venues.
  14. Yeah I would be real surprised if Tom Sawyer doesn't make the setlist. Won't be disappointedif it doesn't, but we all know it is their most known song. Mission- Drop in my opinion. The Pass - love it Working Man - kind of the same as Tom Sawyer - I could do without it for vault stuff! Closer to the Heart - Bring it back Limelight & Spirit of Radio - Always A Passage to Bangkok - Ah they never play Bangkok! 2112 - On the fence - would prefer more Hemispheres and A Farewell to Kings - love to hear Cygnus X-1, Xanadu, Cinderella Man, Hemispheres YYZ - gotta play it! Some newer stuff - Malignant Narc., Monkey Bus., Far Cry By-Tor, Necromancer, Bastille Day, Lakeside Park, Anthem, In the Mood, and of course... Fly By Night! Why don't they play Fly By Night??? Looking forward to the tour!
  15. QUOTE (Sathington WillOUghby @ Apr 6 2010, 04:15 PM) If you adjust your computer time and/or date, you can move the countdown ahead... LMAO
  16. Lets hope Rush follows what other bands have been doing and go paperless tickets for those premium seats. This really makes sense in keeping the tickets with the real fans and not the scalpers.
  17. I made the trip from Cleveland to Toronto with four friends to see them Sept 19, 2007 at the Air Canada Centre. I have to say we were disappointed in the crowd. It was a Wednesday. Most folks seemed like they were sitting on their hands. We heard the Saturday show was much better. We got the tickets for the Wednesday show before they announced Saturday's. Rats! Would we go again? HELL YES! It's flipping Toronto!!
  18. QUOTE (iluvgeddy05 @ Apr 7 2010, 06:04 PM) QUOTE (LeaveMyThingAlone @ Apr 7 2010, 02:01 PM) We're definitely gonna see them in the kimonos during 2112 if this is the case Alex lost his, remember? Anyways, this is pretttty darn cool! I'm glad the skeptic in me had finally left and I'm starting to believe some of this nonsense I second that!
  19. I'm thinking Family Guy will be incoporated somehow.
  20. Certainly a good sign! The low bandwidth side tour section still shows the previous dates. Lets see if they wipe that today.
  21. Saw TSO tonight in Akron. Decent show, but not nearly as good as their winter tour. Set much smaller since they are doing smaller venues. Light show was decent though - no pyro. Set list was good although they didn't play as much from Night Castle that we thought they would. They sound was decent, but the volume seemed low. We were up close though so maybe since the PAs were positioned pretty high up we didn't catch them that well. Biggest thing we all agreed we did not care for was the story reading was way overboard - too long and too much. This was the second show of this new tour. Overall we enjoyed it, but prefer the winter set. I would recommend going
  22. QUOTE (VarianStar @ Mar 15 2010, 08:29 AM) "Subdivisions" ~ Jacob Moon (Rush) Oh yeah - seriously like his version! also agree with folks that said - Stone Cold Crazy and All the Young Dudes - great stuff. Let me add a few more.. Def Leppard - Rock On (2006), David Essex (1973) Cheap Trick - Ain't That A Shame (1979), Fats Domino (1955) Joaquin Phoenix- I walk The Line (2005, Johnny Cash (1956) I guess we could start separate thread "Worst Covers of all Time" - But why bother?? There would be so many.
  23. Was driving to a movie when I heard The Scorpions cover (1989) of "I Can't Explain" by The Who released the song originally on January 15th, 1965. Great cover!
