  1. obvious answer is Rush but I love an old Canadian band called Goddo if they're considered metal.. and Max Webster! there's also an old band I remember called Fist (although I think there was a more popular band with that name from somewhere else) I really like a newer band called The Order of Chaos from my city (Edmonton) which are definitely metal! also Coney Hatch (metal?), and I like to pretend Nazareth are Canadian for some reason but they're not.. :/
  2. You haven't lived until you've died.
  3. Wow he even has the correct instruments! Only mistakes I saw were on the drums including the one everyone makes during the La Villa guitar solo. This is awesome though!
  4. Best song that ends an album or best song to end an album? I chose the latter..
  5. 44:44 - Alex throws food on the floor and tells the dog to fcuk off for eating it. 45:54 - microphone stand he coulda saved for his first Rush gig instead of using a lamp! 53:35 - possible red Barchetta sighting. Parked in front of the house.
  6. that really sucks.. hope the stuff turns up. btw.. interesting username.. do you know GedsJeans?
  7. Loved it from the first listen too. Think Driven is an absolutely awesome song and was very disappointed when it wasn't included in the R40 setlist. Like pretty much most of the rest of them too. Best production of anything in their latter career and it ain't even close.Maybe best produced album of theirs ever. Am I the only person in the world that gets that Dog Years was humor, meant to be funny and not taken seriously? No you're not the only one! I get it too but unfortunately Peart's personality prevents him from being funny.. Picture Mr Spock telling a joke.. Kirk would just roll his eyes and Bones would probably throw an insult at him lol
  8. Every nerve (and vocal chord) is TORN APAAAARRT!!!
  9. Yup! I had the same three albums when I was in my teens and also 'Crisis' and FLW. They were my favorite band for a while. I got into them because Fool's Overture used to be the theme song for a Canadian news show (W5 I think). I like Hide in your Shell and many others. I saw Roger Hodgson just a few years ago and his voice hadn't aged at all!
  10. I like that one from quebec where his boat looks like a drumset ;)
  11. Righty in the streets, lefty in the sheets. Wait, what? Smart. Feels like someone else that way ;)
  12. Your secret is safe with me. ;) Lol... Shh!
  13. Anyone else find it amazing that the sun and moon appear exactly the same size to us here on earth..?
  14. If they fit like shit, you must acquit..
  15. What's the difference? When I was young it kinda bugged me that one hand was more dominant so I started training my left hand, now there's many things I can do better with my left hand but my right is still more dominant most times. I've always been into playing cards (cheating techniques and magic tricks just as a hobby) and my left hand is much more dominant.. I can solve a rubiks cube with my left hand much faster than my right. Regarding stringed instruments, I always figured right handed players should play left handed and lefties should play right because working the fret board is much harder than strumming no..?? Maybe thats why Hendrix was so good! I'm a drummer though so who knows..
  16. Apparently I didn't understand the question.. Not just music? Ok.. Zappa Tesla JFK or Norm Macdonald.. Depending on my mood at the time I guess
