  1. I plan to grab it from iTunes first thing in the morning and play it during my 1:15 commute, then grab the CD at lunch and spin the disc on the drive home.
  2. I'm guessing the "leak" will be intentional and therefore not an actual leak.
  3. I write awesome music and I don't over use my cry baby wah wah pedal at all.
  4. Four on the Snakes and Arrows tour. Four on the Snakes and Arrows Live tour. If you squint a little that comes out to eight Snakes and Arrows shows, but a pair of fours works for me.
  5. I don't expect them to focus on Grace Under Pressure in 2014. I hope they are done with the full album nostalgia trips. I seriously hope we hear all of Clockwork Angels on the next tour, but only so we can hear the whole story live. The full album nostalgia thing was nice for Moving Pictures, but I don't think it's worth it to do it again. I'd rather celebrate R40 with another new album and then play the crap out of that one.
  6. A rock opera is called a rock opera when the artist calls it a rock opera. A concept album is called a concept album when the artist feels that the term "rock opera" is not pretentious enough. Seriously though, I think they are the same thing. If there's a story that carries through the whole piece then go ahead and call it whichever you want.
  7. If Spirit of Radio took a year off I would not mind. I'm hoping Closer to the Heart goes on vacation again too.
  8. It's still possible, after the music radar story, that neither song was re-recorded. The single could just be edited down a bit. For my money, the change of label implies that they will be rerecorded, but who knows. I am not going to really care until I pop the new CD into the car stereo as soon as I walk out of the store with it.
  9. I got chills reading that. How ridiculous is that? Just the very idea that some one has heard the whole record gave me freakin' chills! GLEEEEEE!!!!!
  10. Given the logistics I would guess that selling out a few US sized amphitheaters isn't goin to cut it. They would have to have a few Brazil '02 sized sell outs... And even then that might not be enough. I'm rooting for you guys though. They are playing two shows within 30 minutes of my house. Karma dictates that I should root for some Australian gigs to share the wealth.
  11. How much of a stretch is it? They are Canadian after all. They could play both poles.
  12. I think "None of the above" should be an option. I don't want to hear Losing it without Ben Mink, and I really don't care to see them playing on stage with Ben Mink. I'd rather hear all of Clockwork Angels than anything out of the vault from Signals.
  13. One monster stadium show in Sydney. Sure the entire continent would have to travel to see it, but it would be worth their effort. We need to throw Australia a bone after all this time. The toured South America last time. Take care of Australia this time, and then hit Africa next time. Conquering the world, one continent at a time.
  14. The polls are a good way to hold us over until the actual album comes out and we can post actual polls about the actual songs rather than actual polls about speculation about the actual songs. Actually.
  15. I think Geddy and Neil are at their best here. Alex is solid, but nothing jumps out at me as outstanding. Geddy and Neil are out of their minds from start to finish.
  16. The LA Kings did not just take a 1-0 lead over the Blues in game three.
  17. My step daughter did not KICK ASS in her softball game tonight, and my step son was not AWESOME in his baseball game last night.
  18. 100 posts away from 2112.
  19. I live in Boston and I flew to Milwaukee for a show in '07. I've also driven to Saratoga Springs, NY, MANHATTAN (twice) and Hershey, PA. We haven't worked out a road trip for this tour yet, but Los Angeles and Anaheim are kind of on the radar. So is Buffalo. Toronto was too at first but I have a work conflict now and can't go. I'm pissed about that.
  20. If its more than three people it's not Rush.
  21. I think A Farewell to Kings is due. They have said that it's been rehearsed for the last few tours. I think it's time has come. I'd like to hear Jacobs Ladder but there is a video around somewhere with Neil saying they tried it during Time Machine rehearsals but decided it no longer worked for them. More obscure songs? I've always wanted to hear Open Secrets live. Available Light and Everyday Glory too.
