Sorry, but I only see all the positives of their performances during this tour. All you "critics" can disprove me if you can do better than them at the same age!

Right, so to be "true fans" we aren't allowed to complain about anything. Gimme a f***ing break I'm so happy you are the "first and only perfect" human being that ever existed on Earth. You can trust in his perfection. He's an engineer. His argument that I think I'm the "first and only perfect" human being makes no sense. I love Rush. Most (if not all) of us love Rush. But if someone has a negative opinion of whatever it may be, that's their right. It doesn't make them any less of a fan. Why be negative and not positive about their performance? I know Rush are not perfect. Rush are not machines.

I haven't been on here in ages but finally had some free time to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon perusing the Internet and return to this forum. I can't believe the bashing that is going on about Geddy's vocals on the tour and (in particular) the DVD/Blu-ray. I thought people on here were fans. Obviously (I think) the ones that are complaining are too young to understand aging. Yes, I too have noticed that Geddy no longer has that range of his youth, but he still "sounds like" himself! Trust me, I've seen every tour since AFTK and even in the 80's I noticed differences in his range from the 70's songs that were still in rotation. Part of it was growing as a vocalist and the fact that he did start taking vocal lessons and instead of "screaming" parts he was actually singing them! I was at the second Toronto show and Ben Mink and the band doing Losing It for the first time ever live was the pinnacle! Why is nobody focusing on the extremely great musicianship of these 3 in their mid 60's and can pull off some of the most complex compositions that they admit were difficult when they first recorded them (Hemispheres)? They put musicians a third of their age to shame!!!! I thought the people on this forum were true fans (and understanding human beings). I guess I was wrong. I wish I could do the things I could 30-40 years ago but I can't (and, for the older members, I'm sure you can't either). Why do you expect them to do the same? For you younger members, you'll understand when you get to my age (50). Peace out. Rush is still the greatest Rock band in my opinion and I thank them for 40 wonderful years of music. They owe me (or anyone else) NOTHING!

Geez! That's going back a long, long, time ago! I think I was 12 or 13 when I saw my first Rush concert, AFTK Tour. My step-brother took me. I've only missed 2 tours since then... Roll The Bones (I had a massive case of the stomach flu!) and R30 (F***ing Ticketmaster Canada and 3rd party back then wanted $350+ when I think the face value was around $50-$60 for Toronto). I can't really remember the AFTK but Signals was pretty cool at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. I think the Payolas opened up for them! Don't remember much about the set list though.

I don't think it was slamming. Rush was only one of numerous (and deserving... except Public Enemy... how is that "rock"?!) inductees but, you have to admit, we Rush fans are so loyal and dedicated and we took over the entire night!

Dave Grohl is consummate musician and, in my opinion, the guy to keep Rock'n'Roll true in this new Millennium! Rush chose him and Taylor Hawkins to induct them!

Rik Emmett is my favourite vocalist. Loved him in Triumph but I think his solo work kicks way more ass! He is a very versatile guitarist and has the pipes to boot. Blows EVH right out of the water IMHO. Seen Rik live many times as a solo artist both with full band and acoustic solo.

Best Buy owns Futureshop in Canada so if one doesn't have it the other won't either. Really? Walmart for legitimate music purchases? If they can't buy it in cheap bulk, they won't sell it! I haven't purchased music or DVD/Blu-ray from a Canadian retailer in ages. Do most of my purchases on Amazon using both the Canadian and US sites depending on who is cheaper (including shipping of course). Pre-ordered my Time Machine Blu-ray from Amazon.ca (somehow they screwed up something on my pre-order and I got it for $17.10 plus tax and free shipping via UPS). UPS showed up at my door at 5:30 PM on the day of release.

First Rush song I learned on bass was Bastille Day. Then it was 2112 in its entirety.

I hope the boys got compensation for product placement!
