  1. Happy New Year to all at the Rush Forum present and past!
  2. A little late but I hope everyone had a great holiday!
  3. Seems like they needed to do something to get in the news again. Kind of a pointless, nothing statement. Kind of like the Who 1980 farewell tour
  4. thanks for the link Laura. Very cool!
  5. I have a few items signed by Neil in my basement and a little of his gear in my office, so I think about him often, but like it was mentioned above it is more of a sigh now.
  6. Lorraine wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, even under your circumstances that is my wish - that you are able to get some Merry and some Happy!
  7. Hahaha! Yes my friend! Mahalo!! Hawaii is my favourite place in the world! At least from the places I have actually visited. That's awesome buddy! What is your favorite island? I've only been to Oahu, The Big Island and Maui. Maui is my go to!! I have been to those three. Really want to visit Kawaii. I have been told that is the nicest island. I liked all three for different reasons. Oahu has the surfing and big waves, and Pearl Harbour and Honolulu. Maui is just beautiful. I actually really felt at home on the big island. I could see myself retiring in one of those towns and walking in to the local open air bar every day to take my regular seat.
  8. Agreed. I am really enjoying Yellowstone.
  9. A few of those other musicians had the "I can't believe I am on stage with Alex Freaking Lifeson" look.

  11. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. yes, me too! The stage show was excellent. Nice review also! Mithrandir your loss!
  12. I saw them in Toronto last Friday. Totally worth going! It was so much better than I expected based on previous discussion. Phil is frail, but he can still sing and the background singers finish off seamlessly where Phil can't hit the notes. He is an engaging "master of ceremonies" throughout. His son Nic is very good as the new drummer. Not just nepotism - he fits the songs perfectly. They cover a good mix of prog and pop era songs. The lighting and sound were top notch. If I could figure out how to post photos I would. Rutherford, Banks and Steurmer are total pros. I went in with low expectations and came away very happy that I went. They played over 2.5 hours!
  13. It may actually happen this time. Will be interesting to hear the line up.
  14. I saw Genesis in Toronto last night. I really enjoyed the show. Yes Phil is ailing and has lost some of his vocal range, but it was FUN! The background singers filled in seamlessly. Nice mix of old and new songs. i would recommend going!
  15. One of my most treasured concert memories is seeing the last concert Keith Moon played before he died.
