  1. Audio is from my friend Greg. There was too much talking on my recording. did Greg upload the audio only on Dime? If so, is there a link? I was at Philly and looking for the best audio from that show. Thanks much!
  2. going to Philly as well. Hoping for set C!!!
  3. thank goodness they didn't swap out Subdivisions. My favorite Rush song.
  4. Funny, I just looked at Stub Hub for NJ and the seating chart looks different from the one on ticketmaster. On stub hub the stage looks pushed back a bit. Wonder which one is correct?
  5. yeah, I just checked NJ as well and saw section 17. It looks like that is a "side view section" as it's shaded in grey. Anyone ever sit here? I am going to Philly but am considering going to NJ as well and taking the 2 hour trip.
  6. hoping for nothing from Clockwork. Had just about the whole thing last time. enough is enough.
  7. I hope not. I wasn't a fan and I'm not an "old school only" Rush fan either. I like the mid 80's stuff as well as the 1970's classics. To me it just sounded like there was too much going on at once. It took away from what i was there to hear: the three amazing guys in Rush. Maybe they were just too high in the mix at my show... I wouldn't have minded it on certain songs but I really didn't like hearing strings in YYZ. It just didn't work for me.
  8. Not a fan of it. I did love all of the 80's synth era songs, but found the strings kind of out of place. I especially didn't like hearing them during YYZ. No need for them in that rocking song. I guess it was something the guys wanted to do for a change of pace, but it just didn't work for me.
  9. spirit of radio and time stands still were rough vocally. They were the low points. lots of high points though
  10. Yes, the religion bashing by Neil is getting old as of late. Maybe he can start to write about sci-fi, cars, motorcycles and the like again
  11. wonderful news! New albums and tours from my two favorite bands(rush and Van Halen) woo hoo! what a year this will be!
  12. QUOTE (Brizel @ Sep 28 2011, 07:34 PM) Am I the only one fist pumping by myself on the couch? nope!
  13. Even though I feel Snakes and Arrows stinks, I'll have to go with Far Cry.
  14. There are six of us going and we are in sect. 206. Yeah, I know, crappy seats... I'm guessing it will be a packed house! We will try and stop in at the Red Robin.
  15. thanks for this. Too bad they have nothing my size. Oh well.
  16. My son will turn 7 this week. There is no way I would ever take him. First off, going to see a rock show is more of a "get away" to be with my good friends(adults). That's just me. I have two other boys(both in diapers) so I don't get a "break" too often. I guess every kid is different, but my son would not enjoy a three hour rock concert. He has no interest in Rush or rock music at this point(and I don't force it on him). Right now he is obsessed with Spongebob and playing his Wii games. Maybe when he gets older and his musical tastes evolve I would take him, but never before he was 12 years old. My seven year old is in bed by 8 PM each night so how in the world could I expect him to make it through a long rock concert? There will be pot smoke, some foul language, some drunks, etc. In my opinion just not the place for small children. Sorry to be the party pooper since it looks like I'm in the minority. The last and most important reason why I would never take my seven year old son to a Rush(or any rock) concert would be that there is no shot in hell that my wife would allow it!!!
  17. congrats! WZZO Rocks! Love that station! Too bad it barely comes in where I live(40 minutes west of philly).
  18. QUOTE (Tigershark2112 @ Aug 8 2010, 01:14 PM) And putting 'spoiler' under it doesn't help the fact that THE SPOILER IS THE TITLE. Just because YOU saw the damn show doesn't mean EVERYONE has. Eh, forget it. It's too friggin' late anyway. I'll probably be back here on August 30th, guys. Sick of inconsiderate d-bags ruining my show. Hey Tigershark, I thought you weren't going to come around here until after your show? Darn... You had my hopes up Just kidding pal.
  19. QUOTE (FootballYouBet @ Aug 10 2010, 09:20 PM) Bringing a kid to a rock concert is like bringing a kid to a bar. The kid really doesn't belong there, and a room full of adults shouldn't have to cater to the kid because of some dumb ass parent who thinks he's being cool by bringing his kid. You wanna bring your kid to the show? Fine. Just don't act like a total f***ing wanker by making people sit down. And don't be surprised when people sitting right next to your kids spark a joint either. Yeah, I'm with you. I really don't get the whole thing with bringing little kids to a 3 hour rock show. I have three boys- ages 6, 2 and 8 months. Going to a rock concert with a few of my friends or my wife is an escape for me. I'm going there to get AWAY from my kids! My 6 year old is in bed by 8:30 each night. No way is he gonna make it through a 3 hour rock show.
  20. it said "Paul Rudd Outro video". Yeah, my bad...
  21. Ok. Now I changed the title. Is this better? jeez... Sorry dude, wasn't thinking when I posted that. Wasn't trying to be an "inconsiderate d-bag" as you called it.
  22. I guess I left the Camden show right after Working Man and missed the skit they did with Paul Rudd. Does anyone have a link to where I could see this? Can't find it on youtube. Thanks in advance!
  23. awesome! can't wait to check out this venue. It's a bit far, as I'm 50 minutes west of Philly, but come on it's RUSH!!!!
  24. I'm hoping to get tickets to the show at PNC Arts center in Jersey. Due to financial issues, I may have to get a lawn seat. I've never been there, so I'm hoping the lawn will suffice. I just saw the boys in Camden on the lawn and was very happy with the sound quality! The boys really kicked ass! Looking for opinions on how this venue compares to the one in Camden? Thanks in advance.
