  1. QUOTE (Sheldon Cooper @ Sep 6 2012, 08:30 PM) QUOTE (gangsterfurious @ Sep 6 2012, 03:47 PM) Nobody's Hero. Meh. I guess I know when my pee break will be. I see lot's of pee break potential here. I might actually be able to drink a little more than I normally would since there will be so many opportunities to void my bladder. they'll definitely be lots of people roaming around if they are playing those songs.
  2. QUOTE (ReRushed @ Sep 6 2012, 08:08 PM) "Nobody's Hero", no thank you. If this is true, they picked one of the few songs I definitely don't want to hear. chances are they'll be a few more that i don't want to hear but if they are playing nobody's hero, i hope they play another song i don't like either before or after it so i can take an extended beer/pee break.
  3. i'm glad i won't be home until late tomorrow night. i won't have to endure all of the hoax setlist threads tomorrow. the real setlist will be revealed by the time i get home.
  4. QUOTE (Alchemical @ Sep 6 2012, 05:42 PM) Just found this... QUOTE (farcryoverspilledmilk @ Sep 6 2012, 12:39 PM)If they stick to the rumored 3 hours and 10 mins of music they have planned then there is plenty of time for this. Intro Prelude - Hemispheres The Big Money Limelight Subdivisions The Pass Time Stand Still Caravan BU2B Clockwork Angels The Anarchist Carnies Halo Effect Seven Cities of Gold Intermission The Wreckers Headlong Flight BU2B2 Wish Them Well The Garden Losing It Manhattan Project Marathon Nobody's Hero Where's My Thing? Drum Solo Alex Solo The Trees Xanadu Jacobs Ladder Encore Malignant Narcissism The Spirit of Radio Tom Sawyer 2112 Overture/Temples/Grand Finale Anyone else think it's just a little bit of a coincidence that farcryoverspilledmilk happened to guess four of the songs from the supposed "confirmed" songs list in his setlist prediction from a couple days ago? They all follow each other too... Guessing TSoR or TS isn't anything unusual but the fact that he guessed four of the seven songs he happened to learn were on the setlist does raise some questions over the validity of this thread. nice work. that confirms it's a hoax. end of thread.
  5. QUOTE (Alchemical @ Sep 6 2012, 04:51 PM) QUOTE (shail @ Sep 6 2012, 04:47 PM) This guy is pulling everyone's chains. They are not playing loosing it or anything off power windows or HYF. The crap people post. I'd say Losing It is very likely actually. Starting to think this might be a troll thread to get us riled up before the actual setlist tomorrow though... if it is a troll thread it's a damn good one. i hope it's a troll thread.
  6. QUOTE (Torgo Satyr @ Sep 6 2012, 03:21 PM) I think it's funny that many are worried from this spoiler info that this RUSH show will be mellow because they are mellowing in their older age...LOL... Um... let's see...Far Cry, Caravan, Headlong Flight, The Anarchist, Carnies, 7 Cities, BU2B, Clockwork Angles... pretty sure those will be in the show, along w/ obvious barn burners like Freewill, TSOR, etc. Mellow??? Uh..no. yea but far cry sucks and freewill they've beaten to death.
  7. QUOTE (greg2112 @ Sep 6 2012, 02:51 PM) very disappointed to hear that manhattan project and marathon are in the set. Only positive in this report for me is Losing It and 2112 (only if its the full version. Not good. same here. losing itn was a good choice, they could have went with the beginning of hemispheres instead of 2112, but other than that not much to be excited about.
  8. QUOTE (Del_Duio @ Sep 6 2012, 02:17 PM) QUOTE (ReflectedLight @ Sep 6 2012, 01:58 PM) i kind of figured that they would play all or almost all of ca but the other selections? animate, second nature, manhattan project, nobody's hero, and marathon.....are major disappointments. Wow, you don't agree with something RUSH says or does? it's called an opinion on the setlist. i guess you're happy with everything they say and do and also the selections they made so far.
  9. QUOTE (circumstantial tree @ Sep 6 2012, 02:02 PM) QUOTE (ReflectedLight @ Sep 6 2012, 02:58 PM) i kind of figured that they would play all or almost all of ca but the other selections? animate, second nature, manhattan project, and nobody's hero, and marathon.....are major disappointments. I think it's great! Those songs would be good for the orchestra to be playing. The drum solo is probably part of headlong flight. if you're a fan of counterparts and power windows, than yea you should be excited. i'm not.

  11. QUOTE (ReRushed @ Sep 5 2012, 07:52 PM) I'm surprised "The Analog Kid" isn't on the list. It should be. i'm surprised also. don't worry they won't play it. they'll play roll the bones instead.
  12. it's either going to be something different where they mix things up a bit or the agony of defeat.
  13. QUOTE (Tombstone Mountain @ Sep 4 2012, 01:26 PM) QUOTE (losingit2k @ Sep 4 2012, 01:02 PM) OK Last one: Set 1: Far Cry Caravan BU2B Clockwork Angels The Anarchist Carnies Halo Effect Seven Cities of Gold The Wreckers Headlong Flight BU2B2 Wish Them Well The Garden Freewill 2112 Overture/ Temples/ Finale Set 2: Analog Kid Limelight Digital Man Jacobs Ladder Red Barchetta Losing it Tears Witch Hunt Manhattan Project Red Sector A New World Man YYZ/ Drum Solo Alex's Solo/ La Villa Stangiatto Hemispheres (Prelude) Xanadu Encore: The Spirit of Radio Tom Sawyer Subdivision Please don't play Freewill... time for them to shelve it.
  14. QUOTE (Transparent Green @ Sep 5 2012, 05:05 PM) I haven't read thru every string-related thread...but Nobody's Hero had a string score by Michael Kaman. This one would appear to be a prime candidate for strings. Just puttin' it out there. please put it back.
  15. QUOTE (FountainOfSyrinx @ Sep 4 2012, 08:23 PM) QUOTE (ReflectedLight @ Sep 4 2012, 07:07 PM) QUOTE (FountainOfSyrinx @ Sep 4 2012, 06:15 PM) It'll take up what... 1 minute or so? And all Geddy has to sing are low notes.. for him at least. something tells me that minute is going to feel alot longer. just another pee break for you. it's too short a time frame for a pee or beer break. if i have an isle seat than i might be able to grab a quick beer unless there's a long line already.

  17. QUOTE (losingit2k @ Aug 30 2012, 06:59 AM) In the 80's it was all about the lasers! lasers are still cool. especially if the use them during xanadu.
  18. QUOTE (snowdogged @ Sep 3 2012, 12:22 PM) They are not playing The Garden this tour. They are playing Barclays Center instead. i wish the first part was true and the second part false.
  19. QUOTE (GeminiRising79 @ Sep 2 2012, 10:25 AM) Novelization of CA? Taking CA to Broadway?? An orchestra to accompany the live shows? Seriously, the plot gets dumber with every tick of the clock. What kind of grandiose-thought-producing drug is Neil Peart on these days? Or is he simply "losing it"? i thought he was joking around but i guess i read it wrong and he was being serious. broadway? an orchestra?
  20. not a big deal to me at all. simple wave with neil in the back and the other two up front is enough. i'm not a giddy loud fan anyway. see ya on the next one and if not enjoy the rest of your life.
  21. QUOTE (NYM86 @ Sep 3 2012, 11:30 AM) I can do without double-necked guitars
