I have posted here since 2007 (once under a different name, re-registered back in 2010 but lurked for a long time). I think this is the the highest percentage of happy Rush fans in regards to a setlist I have seen to date.
That's just one guy's opinion.
maybe a higher percentage of fanboi's than in recent years.

absolutely it's a geddy tailored setlist which they all agreed could play night after night. you either like it or you don't, and will either be in attendance or choose not to. i choose not to but wish everyone a good time at their show.

count me out as a die hard than. everything was good until power windows with a few clunkers like body electric. after that they lost me on alot of stuff unless you dug the heavy synth period. alot of the 90's sucked heavily. 1/2 of vt was good, s & a sucked, and 1/2 of ca is good. geds voice being shot explains the current setlist. it is what it is.

That's my guess, but your complaints are purely valid for discussion.New here, but LONG time fan. Been to so many Rush concerts I lost count.
While everyone has valid points and opinions, it's quite obvious to me that this set list is all about Ged's range an vocal ability at this time. I can't even fathom him singing "much" from the 70's anymore without sounding strained, nasally or just plain bad.
What about Cinderella Man? His vocals are pretty low on that song and even the high parts aren't all that high...
i was hoping for that one also.

How is Where's My Thing a surprise?
It hasn't been played since the summer of 1992, which is 20 years ago. That makes its return a surprise.
And, I did not expect four songs from PoW.

Ok I'm nit picking maybe but this is just not my kind of setlist I suppose, too much from the mid 80s, & the same old 90s tracks and almost zero from the 70s...

They hardly ever do any Farewell to Kings!
They were the ones who said they were gonna dig out the old school classics? So where are they?
