I did like images and words. But I cannot stand the lack of guts live. When unorganic becomes a word, come back and see us. Good day, I'm not about to google search that word to justify my post. I know what It means and If I made it up, thank me - new word discovered = I am awesome. You are. As is Dream Theater! - images and words - no doubt is awesome. And Awake! I would love to see DT win this award, regardless if I am not a fan of Grammies. The Prog World needs a winner. It all depends on who they are up against . Megadeth, Foo Fighters, Mastodon and Sum 41 Foos will probably win
  2. I go with the Charlie Brown tree myself. It's all I need really.

  4. "On The Backs Of Angels" is nominated for a Grammy in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance category. Never thought I'd see the day...
  5. That looks delicious... could use some bacon though.
  6. I've really been into Storage Wars lately I never knew about storage auctions before and if I ever get some money together it would be something I would like to try out some day I love American Pickers and Pawn Stars as well.
  7. My friend has been pulled over for driving in the shoulder whilst turning right. He had to take a field sobriety test, even though he wasn't drinking.
  8. I've had a moment like that as well Soni. My wake up call was waking up throwing up in my friend's toilet without having any recollection of the night before. Now i still drink, but hardly ever to get drunk. Maybe I'll have two beers every other Friday night. I have lived with an alcoholic before, and it's not fun waking up to him drinking beers at 10:00 in the morning with empty bottles laying every where. It's good to get out now when you still can

If you have it then proceed. It's against the law and dangerous. Also, you're not doing anyone any favors. YES! This! One of my biggest pet peeves. And seriously, how freaking hard is it to use your signal!? ALSO. I HATE when it's raining or snowing and the visibility is obviously poor, and people are out on the 65 mph expressway without their lights on switching from lane to lane without signals... UGH! You gettin any snow up there yet, Phil? Actually no. I like I've seen a few flakes, but besides that it's been one of the warmest Novembers I can remember. Unfortunately that only makes for worse lake effect when it actually does get cold It's gonna be a lonnnnnng winter..

  12. Now where I agree about the number of mainstream bands with talent have gone down, there are still some gems as well... Foo Fighters are great. The Decemberists keep making consistently excellent records. I really enjoy The Black Keys too, just 2 guys with heavily distorted blues based guitar riffs. unfortunately these bands seem more few and far between.
  13. So i found this on youtube today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkU5RPPezyE&feature=related kick ass

  17. So I saw a license plate this morning. On NY plates it says "The Empire State." Someone took a label maker a wrote out 'Highest Taxed' and place it over where it says 'Empire.' 'The Highest Taxed State.' Found that funny.. I wish i could have gotten a picture but the light turned green
  18. QUOTE (umoveme @ Nov 3 2011, 08:49 PM) Fire away because this probably isn't going to be a very popular comment but... I have worked with kids for over 11 years in an educational setting. Never ever would I think it was appropriate to touch a student's stomach and make a reference about alcohol consumption and/or a big or beer belly. I'd be angry if a school employee behaved in that way to my child. Sorry, but that is beyond inappropriate. Having said that, it's unfortunate that there was an immediate termination based on this sole incident. I hope your mom finds work soon and that school works out for you. The kid is 21 years old and doesn't actually have a belly. Trust me, my mom and my self have stomachs twice as large as this kid's. And they were talking about partying so it's not like it was a secret he likes to drink.
  19. QUOTE (Lost In Xanadu @ Nov 3 2011, 02:16 PM) Any update? Hope you have some good news soon. Not much going on at the moment. Just trying to take things one day at a time. My mom is looking for a new job and has put in several applications. She hasn't had any luck in finding an attorney willing to take her case, but she's still looking. One lawyer told her that if the school deems that she broke a rule, they have the right to terminate her. She's also trying to sign up for unemployment as well, but that's not looking too promising. As for me, I've been running around campus trying to see if I can get any financial aid and some loans. I had to fill out some paper work and they said they won't know how much I can get until Wednesday. So With the new quarter starting in 3 weeks here at RIT, I still know if I'll be going to classes. I'm also trying to find a job, but no luck with that yet.
  20. Looks like I've put Capricorns in first
