  5. THE ONLY MAC & CHEESE THREAD v.1
  6. I've got pretty thick skin and I was personally offended by none of the words or comments that prompted the thread what irks me most is the arbitrary double standard of what is and what is not 'offensive/censored' here imo this arbitrary line is childish and silly, and though 99% of this forum - and my time here - is spent passively and enjoyably, sometimes that 1% needs a voice I'm thankful this place allows that I've vented, everyone's moved on - the company line shall remain arbitrary, childish and silly TRF™ - Use at your own discretion How about instead of complaining about the way this forum is run you go and start your own Rush forum and run it the way you think a forum should be ran. While you are setting it up you may feel free to ask me any questions you like and I will help you as best I can. When you have it all ready to go, come back here and tell everyone that you're open for business. Let everyone decide for themselves and if your way really is better then soon your forum will be outperforming this one. I promise you I am not being a smartass at all, I am 100% serious. a moment's inequity here certainly doesn't require such extreme action I know the double standards will continue here, but the more members that know that's how administration runs the ship, the better chance things have for refinement and progress knowledge is power
  7. http://www.therushfo...80#entry4126109 I just saw this, sheesh. Talking about making an issue out of a non-issue. yeah but see, folks, there's at least five more years of this general hypocrisy from the administration that you weren't even around for without that perspective, I understand your opinions
  8. your ignorance fits right in here :) You've got something against insects ? yes a shoe

  10. I can't say that I've seen many descriptions of defecation and/or racial slurs against white skinned people. (Slurs against stupid people or stupid in general, plenty.) Maybe I'm in different threads, which is OK since I don't really want to see a lot of that stuff. Is there a specific post or thread that is bothering you, ghostworks? I'd like to acknowledge that the example that prompted this thread is a concentrated isolated series of posts, but the broader hypocrisy has been at work here for over seven years
  11. 1-0-0-1-0-0-1 showing his true colors in TOST :)
  12. informal poll how many members here are ok with racist and profane hypocrisy at TRF specifically: expletive descriptions of female body parts = not allowed racial slurs against dark-skinned people = not allowed expletive descriptions of defecation = totally acceptable racial slurs against light-skinned people = totally acceptable thoughts?
  13. smooth and speedy page drawing and script processing
  14. you're almost there i know, it takes time
  15. latest 'I just stumbled across it' good fortune if you're looking for an instant contemporary instrumental collection (downtempo ambient electronica experimental) well here's one hell of a collection 417 tracks (almost 38 hours) from absolute nobodys to some of the biggest names (Future Sound Of London, 808 State, Amon Tobin) and everyone else in between donation? $19.70 (that's under .05 a track) I've been listening for close to an hour and already like more than half of what I've heard so I know I'm going to come out way ahead here - and most of these tracks are exclusive to this comp of course you can listen to the entire thing for free on the bandcamp site (I cherry-picked a dozen songs first, liked what I heard and then just bought in) the donation to Macmillan Cancer Support (one of the largest British charities, since 1911) is a bonus I'm very impressed http://touched.bandcamp.com/album/touched-3
