Wish them Well and Seven Cities of Gold are both solid, I was WTW at my show and it was extremely solid live!
Manhattan Project absolutely destroys Dreamline, which we have already seen the past 10 tours it feels like.
So I guess for me these sets are pretty much tied. Hope I get the variety from seeing the alternate set my next show in Montreal!
Is there any truth to the fact they are switching to all set b next leg or is that just conjecture?

Haha! I heard about the stupid threads in here but have been avoiding looking so I wouldn't spoil my first show.
Good god people are whiners. If you are worried so much you might hate the show or the setlist or the performance or whatever... then either a) don't f**king go or
check what the setlist is first and if you hate it then don't go.How hard is that?
The other night was my 29th show, and I was floored by the setlist, it was easily the biggest craziest departure for Rush in our generation. I can see some people (like me) being incredibly happy to see so much different stuff, especially the set one 80s era material. I saw a bunch of songs I'd never heard live before and it was amazing. I'm sure a lot of more casual fans were a bit WTF about the entire affair.
My theory? This has ZERO to do with Geddy's voice or anything like that. I think the past 10 years they've been slamming their synth era work a bit and avid fans have not had the chance to see many of their favorites. They decided to do a 180 a floor us with a bunch of fresh tracks, brilliant! I would bet the plan is to do an R40 type deal next, which might be the tour they go out on, and THAT set will truly be an OPUS of their awesomest classics.. leaving an opening this tour to do some rarer stuff.

I should go to my first show... buy a blank white t-shirt and a black sharpie... write the setlist on the front of the t-shirt... take a picture of myself wearing said t-shirt and post it in the "Post pictures of yourself" thread!
Except Im not an asshole! At least not when it comes to Rush spoilers, just about everything else is fair game though.

Hi everybuddy,
Just wanted to say hello! I've been steering clear of TRF for the most part trying to avoid tour spoilers. Hell I even had to unlike RUSH on Facebook because they were posting tour spoilers! *gack* the nerve of whoever is managing their social media!
But things are well, I'm getting very excited for my first show on the 21st and then my life can resume normal levels of paranoia instead of heightened ones!
Hope you are all having a blast and that those of you who already had the chance to see this tour really enjoyed it!

My favorite ketchup is HEINZ and I am a ketchup connoisseur.
I don't want to take any one subject too seriously and I certainly don't want to come across as someone who is opposed to the opinions of other but...
If you *must* argue with me at great length about why some other ketchup is superior to Heinz then I will promptly rip you right arm off and bludgeon you with it. It will look a lot like a helicopter dropped a gigantic 8 gallon Heinz ketchup bag from 5,000 feet and it landed on your sorry ass.

I just saw them in Ottawa a couple of weeks back but was so raptly enjoying the experience and show it never even occurred to me to look at merch. Is that poster something they sold or did you do it yourself? It's very cool.
Oh thank you. I did it myself, just to bring to the concert, took about 26 hours in total but I think it was worth it, and also my step-father knows some people so he pulled some strings and I'm pretty sure Bruce Dickinson is going to sign it. I shipped it out, so I'll have to see how it comes back.

Hopefully Bruce signs it for you, I am fairly confident that it must be the first time he has ever seen Eddie riding on mooseback!
