  2. QUOTE (FountainOfSyrinx @ Sep 9 2012, 09:18 PM) QUOTE (LotusLand @ Sep 9 2012, 09:17 PM) and Red Sector A, Dreamline, The Pass, Big Money, Force 10, Bravado are not lazy, Manhattan Project? yeah right...and I do like all of these songs very much. Limelight is very easy.. as is Tom Sawyer.. even Red Barchetta isn't that difficult to play. I agree.

DONT GO TO THE SHOW THEN Obviously you can't read. He can spell pretty well so I wouldn't doubt his ability to read. Probably just chose not too Obviously you people are pleasuring yourselfs and cannot read the entire text. It is not the setlist or the songs per say....It is what could have been and how lazy choices some of these selections are. I just chose not to read any of the text because I don't care about your opinion. So why did you respond to me? Go back to your mother's basement
  4. QUOTE (Animate @ Sep 9 2012, 09:20 PM) soooo..... what is the chance that LotusLand is actually GeminiRising? zero percent
  5. I am glad you were able to name at least 1 non-lazy song that they have not played in a awhile. (Grand Designs) So we are up to 2. GD and BE.
  6. and Red Sector A, Dreamline, The Pass, Big Money, Force 10, Bravado are not lazy, Manhattan Project? yeah right...and I do like all of these songs very much.
  7. They did not have to" learn" 17 songs. They just had to remember what key some of these songs were in and play the 4 chords that go with it. Get the timing back down and play. Yes, lazy would have been the Trees, Between the Wheels and all the others you mentioned. No disagreement.
  8. How do you know they worked their asses off on these? I do give them credit for CA.
  9. QUOTE (Snaked @ Sep 9 2012, 08:58 PM) QUOTE (LotusLand @ Sep 9 2012, 09:17 PM) This is a lazy setlist. Period. That is one of the most disrespectful comments I have read regarding this tour. Let me break this down for you. There are 17 songs being played this tour that have either NEVER been played live (the CA material) or haven't been played in at least 19 years. THAT is not lazy. THAT takes balls. To learn 17 songs for a tour is a hell of a lot of effort. Lazy would have been Freewill - again La Villa - again Red Barchetta - again The Trees - again Between The Wheels - again Distant Early Warning - again ... and the list goes on. The boys totally flipped the setlist this time around. They could have taken the easy way out and been lazy.. regurgitating the same material again.. .but no. They worked their asses off for US. You don't like the setlist. Thats a shame. They worked very hard on it for us. Take CA out of it. it is lazy. Who cares about all the other staples like LL, RB, etc. etc. the other ones are just brought out from the tours in the 90's.
  10. QUOTE (GeminiRising79 @ Sep 9 2012, 08:53 PM) Lotus, I've been accusing Rush of being lazy for years. You are correct in your observation. These setlists are a travesty. I don't even care to watch the new tour videos. Its a damned disgrace. A real mix and match, ass-backwards decision. I'm so disappointed. I really wanted to attend this tour. Such a piss-poor selection of older songs. Fukking shame on them. Finally, someone able to see through this. I would watch them play Happy Brithday on Tupperware from the cupboard. What is happening here is pure laziness and playing out the string. I'm sorry, forever my favorite band. This is a band that has gone out on a limb and done things their "own" way, gone out on a limb and have been bold, gone out on a limb and said to everyone else.....Go f yourself. I get it. I love it. This is just a lazy way out at this point in their careers.....and I could care less about seeing LL and CTTH again, et el. I don't care. What they have chosen are 4-6 songs that have 4-6 different chords and are easy and have been done many times in the past. Nothing bold with Force 10, Bravado, Dreamline, The Pass, Big Money, etc.etc. as discussed earlier. What so many people do not understand....Other than CA, there is really nothing new here or "fresh" as the boys like to say. I like everything they produce, but this just has many of us saying WTF.

  13. QUOTE (Animate @ Sep 9 2012, 08:40 PM) But havn't most of the tickets been sold? I thought most of the arenas are more than half sold already? The first half are the easy half to sell. It is after the hype of when they have been on sales for a while
  14. Half empty arens means playing for 1000 people at a county fair the next time around
