    RUSH Tattoo's

Hey, I was hoping someone could help me out. I'm looking for an image i saw once that i might get for my next tattoo. It's the Counterparts triangles with the Grace under Pressure P/Gin the middle. I thought I saw it here on TRF but i can't seem to find it now.
  6. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jan 6 2012, 06:23 PM) QUOTE (furie @ Jan 6 2012, 12:29 PM) TNG was great, but DS9 was better. Really? I always thought DS9 was the weakest Star Trek series. Don't get me wrong, I love DS9, as I do all the Star Trek series, but only the last 2-3 years when they started going out from the station and dealing with the Dominion, etc. did it really take off. Prior to that, it lacked the dynamism of other series. This was due to the fact that it was at a space station, and all the action had to come to them. It just wasn't as exciting as traveling through space IMHO. Consequently, while this brought more character development, it also brought a bit more of a soap opera / melodrama quality to the show. Again, still a GREAT show, but TNG is much better IMHO. Currently I've been making my way through Voyager, and that's almost, if not as good as TNG. Really though, you can't go wrong with almost any Star Trek, except many of the movies weren't up to par. Weaker than Voyager? No way. The Voyager concept was tired by season two and they just dragged it on for another 5 years. Weaker than Enterprise? No, Enterprise was God awful. The Dominion war was three years, The Klingon War was a year, and the build up to the wars was a year. That 5 years out of 7. storyline. A solid coherent They were only stuck on the station for the first 2 years. I loved TNG, but the stand alone episodes where they pull it out in the last minuted every time gets old as a format. For DS9, things were desperate. Hell they were driven off the station for most of season 5.
  7. QUOTE (apetersvt @ Feb 1 2012, 02:48 PM) ps - it is somewhat coincidental that I made it to 2112 on 2.1.12. I probably would have made a post last night to make it, but I figured I would wait until today. pss- It took my long enough. It's great that you did it on Rush day. Congrats And don't worry about how long it took you, I'm still a long way away. Quality, not quantity.
  8. QUOTE (Bastille Dave @ Jan 22 2012, 02:02 AM) and then, let me guess, another live DVD? sure, why not. No one's forcing you to buy it.
  9. QUOTE (Rick N. Backer @ Jan 31 2012, 04:59 PM) T4E. Actually, if I'm being honest, everything after HYF and before VT can make an argument it deserves this title. Wow, even counterparts?
  10. "Spinning, whirling, Still descending Like a spiral sea, Unending Sound and fury Drowns my heart Every nerve Is torn apart...." how could there be a better ending? I think We Hold On is the weakest end song.

    Feb 1st - Rush Day!!

So did the europeans do a Rush day on Jan 02, 2012?
  12. TNG was great, but DS9 was better.
  13. QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Nov 22 2011, 10:00 PM) What's so appealing about ATWAS? To me, absolutely nothing. I hate live albums and the sound on this one is indicative of why I hate them. The best I can say is: the original record included some good photos. Yes, exactly my sentiment. the only live rush album worth a damn is exit stage left.
  14. New World Man is such a definitive Rush song!
  15. http://www.wbab.com/news/entertainment/rus...-weekend/nFZMk/ I usually listen to satalite radio, but i might have to stream WBAB this weekend.
  16. I voted Cream, but now after thinking about it, I'm leading towards Led Zeppelin.
  17. i couldn't make any of the showings. are there going to be encore shows?
  18. QUOTE (Duck @ Dec 3 2010, 04:59 PM) Well, I looked at the code some more today. It isn't ASCII. I'm sadly getting the feeling it is just random bits which is a little disappointing. I even Googled up a binary ASCII to text web app to make testing snippets of the Counterparts binary code easier to check without going through it manually, but no luck. Looks like garbage in ASCII. Anyway, here is a real message in binary ASCII, which should go well with a movie often seen during these times around Christmas... Ha! I just ran it through a binary converter. I've been wondering what that meant that code meant for 15 years now. and now i know how that kid felt!
  19. Poor fella. I hope they get the internet up in Canada soon!
