  3. Oooohhhh, mood lighting! Nice hot bath, cup of tea, incense, chocolate....mmmmmm Not likely. Reality sets in. We have weekend guests coming, and I'm about as likely to relax as I am to take off anf fly.... Ah well....
  4. Haven't seen them in Guitar World, but Guitar One had Moving Pictures at #34 on their list of the Top 200 guitar recordings of all time....and two ads with Alex in them! Here's a link to some scans of old Guitar World articles that I have.... Click here and enjoy! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v349/sweetmiracle/Alexamps001.jpg
  5. QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Mar 24 2005, 03:49 PM) I don't like pickles, so I can't relate. Chocolate I can relate to...and stress causes me to consume way too much. Luckily my son and I played drums on the couch and danced last night, so I burned off a FEW calories. "Mommy, let's watch Rush in Rio and DANCE!!!!"
  6. QUOTE (dweezil @ Mar 24 2005, 03:29 PM) QUOTE (Sweetmiracle @ Mar 24 2005, 01:27 PM) QUOTE (dweezil @ Mar 24 2005, 03:25 PM) It's cold as crap here too! However, the shivering during the sprint will kill more of the nasty calories. I think. Yeah, but it will also freeze the inside of my nose...I hate that!!! Unless there's enough snow to make it worthwhile! Plenty of the white stuff here. Also, will my nose ring give me frostbite? Don't know... Hey, a new business! Little nose ring warmers....We'll make millions!!!

  8. QUOTE (dweezil @ Mar 24 2005, 03:08 PM) QUOTE (Sweetmiracle @ Mar 24 2005, 01:05 PM) QUOTE (dweezil @ Mar 24 2005, 02:59 PM) I want to lose about 5-10lbs before May 6th. Anyone know how many calories are in sweet pickles? A medium one has about 140.... Mmmmmm....now I've got to have one, and all we have are this cheap kind that taste like sugar mush with vinegar...yecchhhh! If I call my husband at work to bring some home, he'll think I'm pregnant! (No, I'm not!) I ate one anyway I'll just run around the block to ward off the calories! I'll save my caloric intake for my beloved chocolate.... Too cold to run around the block here...dancing with my daughter will have to do!

  10. QUOTE (Rush1 @ Feb 24 2005, 11:53 PM) I know I'm slow;....but he did have that poster on stage at the Salt Lake show last June... I kept looking to see what the heck was up there.....I wasn't sure of the circumstances though.... I also went to the site and found out what it was all about... Really? Cool.....thanks! Unfortunately I was only in row Q so I couldn't see that from so far away. I'd never seen the ad either, though I had seen the info on the website a few months ago... Oh, and Welcome, 1!!!
  11. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v349/sweetmiracle/Alexamps001.jpg Looking good...
  12. Anyone ever try This site to find out Which 'Whose Line is it Anyway?' actor you are? I took it and was linked with Ryan...
  13. A few days ago, I was reading on the eches of old applause website, when I came across the R30 rants page. This stood out: a couple in the first section (102) had a picture of a soldier and the girl kept raising it over her head during the first two or three songs of the show. An usher came over and asked her to put it down, as people were complaining that it was obstructing their view. Shortly after that a member of the Rush crew came over and stated that Alex wanted to display her sign on stage. Before or during "Red Barchetta" one of Alex's guitar techs took the picture and placed it to the left side of his amps (later moved right in front of his amps), which said anthonyquayle.com across the front. The touching moment came when Alex and the lady made eye contact, Alex saluted her and smiled, which of course made her cry. The picture stayed on stage for the rest of the night I went to the website and found out that the young soldier had died of leukemia... That was an incredibly sweet thing for Alex to do....
  14. QUOTE (Sodoff Baldrick @ Feb 6 2005, 07:17 PM) http://home.earthlink.net/~mklively/images/genevabook.jpg Read. Sodoff's infant education program starts Genny off right...... Actually, I'm reading that book to my son Neal, who's 8, for bedtime. His request. Genny is beautiful! So bright and happy!
  15. Thanks! Maybe Alex said "Mine's electric and yours isn't!!!"
  16. QUOTE (Sodoff Baldrick @ Feb 5 2005, 10:30 PM) Alex and Bubbles What is Bubbles thinking? Soddy, I think you'll have to photobucket that shot...it won't show... Please!!???!
  17. Wliia is one of the few shows I watch (or have time to watch...) Recently I saw Brad and Colin at an auditorium in Springfield, Ohio. I nearly cried with laughter Anyone who can play a game involving wearing pink bunny slippers, a see-through speedo, and Janet Jackson's tear-away bustier while stealing the olives out of a pimento, tipping a cow and satisfying a buffalo in Chillicothe (Ohio) at Roger's tar pits and penguin warehouse is okay with me.... Brad went to college about half an hour from here, so he kept slipping in local mentions, like being drunk at Young's Dairy and attending the Fall-o-rama at Fairborn... At the end, the guys played the Alphabet game while being blindfolded and wandering among 100 mouse traps.... they kept trying to throw them on each other....painfully funny....
  18. QUOTE (afansince74 @ Jan 9 2005, 04:02 PM) QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Jan 9 2005, 03:44 PM) As long as these new players are backwards-compatable (able to play regular DVDs), I can live with whatever format they decide on. EXACTLY! They won't be....that would cut down on the profits they'll make by reselling us our favorite DVDs.... and ASOH still won't come out in either format....
  19. QUOTE (Sodoff Baldrick @ Jan 9 2005, 03:18 PM) The day I had the baby I was awake for about 3 days with a few minutes here and there to nap. Seemed every time I got my eyes closed some nurse was wheeling her in to be fed. I didn't get a good nap until I was discharged. Yeah, hospitals are lousy places to sleep.....
