I voted for Different Stages, only for the Hammersmith disk, that was such a surprise when I first played it. I wonder how many more 'nuggets' are in the Rush goldmine?

Some good tracks on this album, Lisa Dalbello does a good 70s Geddy, so Start Today got my vote.

Window to the World.

Currently, looking at everyones votes, nothing really stands out. I have voted for Faithless yet I don't really like any track off this album. This, for me, is the lowest point in my obsession with Rush, I felt so low until I heard Caravan. I don't know if it was that unspeakable hiatus between T4E and VT that, in my opinion, took the spirit from Rush. All I know is the instrumental section/solo within Caravan blew me headlong back into that whirlwind called Rush.

Crossroads.

To be honest, for me, this is where I went off Rush , up until Caravan. Ceiling Unlimited sounds a bit Rushy, I don't like any of the other tracks too much.........

The Colo(u)r Of Right is such an underrated track, I love it so much, the lyrics are genius, the music is great. Top track.

Alien Shore, even with the cringeworthy 'we'd elect eachother president' . Between Sun & Moon not far behind.

Anagram, I love some odd tunes, compared to most people here. (It's all good though).

Prime Mover sounded so good when I heard this on the radio, think it was no:39 in the top 40 or something. So cool, Rush on the chart show, love it!

Grand Designs, great live too, when they played this on the Windows tour!

I don't know what it is about Kid Gloves, p'raps it is a certain place and certain time that holds this tune close to my heart. Besides that I think there is some damn fine playing on this tune, (love the off beat drum pattern, the bass line & the guitar solo).

Natural Science, what a track, this should have made Exit... Stage Left'. No matter though, there is a nice little boot from St Louis that represents this track, at the time, perfectly!

I love that 'jam' in 'Cinderella Man', best moment on the disk, for me!

Lessons may not be the 'best' in most peoples opinions but it is my favourite track.

The Necromancer, but it's actually iii) Return Of The Prince. I think the 'side long epics' should be split up into their original track lists!

Yes, the spirit of this thread is certainly alive, I can remember first hearing Rush and buying all their tunes, telling everyone how great they are and generally annoying people! Those days were fantastic and to all new Rush fans You really are so lucky and are in for a truly magical and wonderful ride, don't let anybody tell you different, Rush ARE the best band in the world and they are the best musicians on their respective instruments, PERIOD. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read an interview somewhere that it was a technology related reason that they didn't perform Witch Hunt at the time of MP.

I thought it was 'Screaming Demons'.
