First live concert attended at the Worcester Centrum during the G/P tour. My friend and I were not old enough yet to drive, and we sat in the balcony section. Despite the setbacks of being young teenagers, it was a time that I will never forget.

    None very good!
  1. If we are lucky, there will be one more tour, but I'm afraid that might do it for Rush.
  2. QUOTE (FountainOfSyrinx @ Sep 9 2012, 09:15 PM) where as Red Barchetta can be played in their sleep.. Alex did forget how to play Tom Sawyer on Friday night.
  3. Happy B-day, and I will be there as well for opening night. Usually I peak at the set list for a tour, but happily will not be able to on this one!!
  4. $12.50, my mom had to drive me to the G/P tour in Worcester Ma.
  5. QUOTE (kkb2323 @ May 29 2012, 05:56 PM) QUOTE (Tarkus406 @ May 29 2012, 05:43 PM)My father gets pretty uncomfortable if he has to stand for too long, (and I would assume most people close to 60 would have that issue), so it does get on his nerves if everybody in the row in front of him is standing up. It's understandable. Personally, I enjoy sitting down, relaxing, and taking in the music, rather than jumping around and flailing my arms like an asshole. Well, I have never been so insulted ! NOT HAHA!! I was born a asshole and I have a asshole for a wife !! To each his own my Friend ! I suppose your legally blind wife wife will never read your outlandish comments, so go ahead and insult her, and everyone else for that matter. Good luck to you, and peace man.....
  6. QUOTE (danielmclark @ May 10 2012, 12:13 AM) It still comes down to a very simple principle. I should have the right to do with my property whatever the hell I want. And my concert ticket is my property. Same as my car, same as my couch, same as my iPad or a CD I own. If I want to sell it to someone who is willing to pay a certain amount, I should have that right. Simply said, this statement says it all...
  7. Isn't selling VIP ticketes for 300.00 plus dollars which includes a bunch of "crap" with the package the same idea as scalping. Before you chastise me, I bought the VIP package on the last tour and enjoyed my 10th row seat, but I had the money and was willing to pay it. If others are willing to pay extra for the seat, then I would call this capitalism at it's finest.
  8. The opening song on this tour will be "Freewill" bet on it...
  9. It's good to hear Alex playing guitar solos again, it's been a while....
  10. QUOTE (jacob's ladder @ Sep 14 2011, 01:09 PM) Nice! Did you pick up some Molson or McCallen? I don't beleive you could possibly get the "Macallen" for 21.12, however if you could, I would like to know what store this is!!
  11. Intermission is usually a good time for me.
  12. The world we live in is much more interesting to me than a fictional tale of any kind.
  13. QUOTE (toolfansat @ Jul 23 2010, 06:00 PM) The other night at the Mohegan Sun show, when Geddy was playing keyboards and they were showing an overhead view of him on the video screen, I noticed red and green stickers on some of the keys on both his keyboards. Anyone know what they are for? My best guesses are: 1) Reference points for when he is switching between keys and bass (similar to the dots on a guitar fretboard). or 2) Indicators for keys that trigger samples... Anyone? Thanks The Red and Green stickers remind Geddy of what it's like "Christmas in July".!!! It reminds him of all the money they are making from the high ticket prices they are charging.!! All the best to them!!
  14. I saw them at Mohegan last night, and I thought about suing them because they didn't play "I think I'm going bald". Boy, I hated that set list.
