  1. QUOTE (1 of the 7 @ Mar 28 2011, 07:15 PM) Thanks guys. There's someone else on vacation the next week at work, so I absolutely can't get away. Same situation all through April. Depending on the $ refund situation, I'm now thinking about shows in June...and maybe going to RushCon when I thought I couldn't afford it. Under normal circumstances, the VIP will-call tix have to be picked up with ID and credit card of the person who bought them. Maybe the rules will change now that we're talking a reschedule? There's also the issue of the VIP merch that's probably on its way to me...I don't know what that means for a (partial) refund, either. Once I know more I'll post back...uggghh. That was for Greensboro, right? Can't make Toledo.
  2. QUOTE (1 of the 7 @ Mar 28 2011, 06:47 PM) I am in absolute shock. There's no way I can make the new date. I had seventh-row will call tickets and have no idea if I can get the money back or transfer them to anyone. My heart hurts... I will also take your tickets if you need to get rid of them.
  3. "I thought the Rocky mountains would be a little rockier" "Yeah, that John Denver's full of shit."
  4. QUOTE (Riv @ Mar 15 2011, 05:33 PM) QUOTE (CMWriter @ Mar 10 2011, 08:28 PM) Ugh. So, I was one of the 15 band students that volunteered to ride on the Pom Squad/Cheerleader bus on the way down to Boys' State B-Ball. Didn't think it would be that bad. Boy, was I wrong. First, they were like freaking out about us getting on their bus -- saying there wouldn't be enough room, that we should all get off, that we weren't welcome, et cetera -- and there were like five empty seats in the end! And when we finally got moving they were still being loud and obnoxious. And singing really off-key random songs. It wasn't all of them, most of the girls I know on Cheer and Pom are perfectly nice, but it was enough that it bugged me. We're all supporting the same team; the same school. Why can't they just welcome us? Once you leave the pit of hell that is high school things will be drastically different. Be yourself, be original, and stay away from the drama. You'll be having sex with those cheerleaders in college. Crap didn't r4alize you were a girl. Well, you still might be having sex with those cheerleaders in college.

  7. YES!!!!! I downloaded them both separately from iTunes and didn't know you could get a pdf with them. Can someone scan and post that?
  8. Did you see the South Park where Indy was getting raped by George Lucas and Spielberg?
  9. Philip Parris Lynott passed away 23 years ago today. PHILO, we, indeed, remember you while you're away - thousands and thousands of people around the globe who you touched with your music and words. And it seems fitting to post the lyrics you wrote about another icon so many years ago, as it most definitely describes how so many of us feel tonight.... We shall miss you and we raise a glass to you today, tonight! -KING'S CALL- It was a rainy night the night the king went down Everybody was crying it seemed like sadness had surrounded the town Me I went to the liquor store And I bought a bottle of wine and a bottle of gin I played his records all night Drinking with a close, close friend Now some people say that that ain't right And some people say nothing at all But even in the darkest of night You can always hear the king's call You can always hear the king's call

Pretty amazing how they did all of that, though. Okay, so it's good but kinda a chick flick. So is it good enough to go to the movies... or is it good enough to wait until DVD? I sit through chick flicks all the time with CeeJ, so keep that in mind. Just, with all the movies out right now, do you think this one is brilliant enough to be the one we go to see? I would see it in the movies. Usually I only go to the theater when it is something that has a lot of visual or sound effects, but this a really good movie. The only reason it got the "chick flick" label is that it has a sub-plot as a love story, but that's no big deal. It's also really long...something like 2 hours and 47 minutes, so be prepared to go to the bathroom at least once, unless you forgot to take your Cialis. Cialis? What exactly are you doing in the bathroom? Whoops. What's that stuff that makes you pee? Flomax?

  17. QUOTE (treeduck @ Dec 26 2008, 07:33 PM) QUOTE (Riv @ Dec 26 2008, 06:28 PM) Well, I think Goobers got pretty good taste in movies so I'm going to go see it tonight. If it IS anything like Mork and Mindy, though, you owe me $9.25, Goober. Well it doesn't say much for Robin Williams then, Mork and Mindy is still about the best thing he's done... I CAN'T STAND Robin Williams.

  19. I just saw this last night and it is hilarious. It's one to purchase, for sure.
  20. QUOTE (Prince Sphinc-Tor @ Dec 22 2008, 09:56 PM) What's green and smells like Miss Piggy's butt? Kermits finger. I don't remember anything about her butt... but what is to be expected from Prince Sphinc-Tor?
  21. QUOTE (Angua @ Jun 21 2008, 07:16 AM) Aahhhh. Very cute and very well-behaved. I can't bear taking the cats in the car 'cos of the noise they create. Just an hour of perpetual meowing was enough! 5 days o the road due to tornadoes /weather and the cat was mostly like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/jcar/Picture159.jpg
