  1. Torchwood? Sorry, but think it sucks in a big way. It had a promising premise, and was billed as an adult show. But, swearing and a little suggestive sex doesn't an adult drama make. BSG shows how to make an adult drama. Black Books is another awesome comedy. Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey play well off of each other.
  2. The UK newspaper, The Guardian, has said that this is the only show that really deals with the war on terror. Man has this show got balls! *spoiler* All the business with the cabal executing the collaborators by putting them in the Viper launch tubes was dark. Gaeter's quiet, dignified acceptance that he was going to die at the hands of his peers was superbly done. This show goes from strength to strength and urinates over most TV from a great height. I still like crap like Las Vegas, though. Is there any hope, for me?
  3. QUOTE (bardan @ Jan 23 2007, 01:17 AM) Another great episode tonight! Graham is Jack's brother, how crazy is that?! I'm also wondering if the kid, Josh, is actually Jack's son. I was wondering that, what with all the meaningful glances and the fact that graeme's wife was pissed at Jack Bauer. (maybe he tortured her, until she had sex with him)
  4. QUOTE (Nickslikk2112 @ Feb 5 2007, 04:55 PM) I love Spaced, being a Brit I watched it on Channel 4, it used to be my Friday night highlight , but the buggers don't seem to want to repeat it. Must get the DVDs. Presuming most of you are Americans, it surprises me that you enjoy British comedy that wasn't that well known in Britain. The three disc Spaced special edition is the way to go. It has a very short unofficial sequel during the documentary.
  5. Spaced is a superb comedy! It's peppered with referenes to movies, TV, and comic books, but you don't have to know the references to enjoy it (it helps, though). Simon Pegg, and the rest are very talented and have been in many comedies, notably Big Train.
