  1. Caravan. Again. 2 votes for Bastille Day and A Passage To Bangkok already. Un-f**king-believable.
  2. QUOTE (Bastille Dave @ May 30 2011, 08:43 AM) It really says something about how much music has changed over the years when Bytor is such a hated song. It's sad, really.... Agree. One of the classics dissed so easily.
  3. Marshy you should do what I do and don't go to any gigs in London. It really is a silly place.
  4. I like loads of Rush tunes spanning all eras. Those just happen to be the best IMO.
  5. Birmingham was quite a surprise as the arena is so different looking to what it was in 2007. Quite a bit of an upgrade to the seating (though not that I used them much) and all around the concourses. Thought we were going to have a complete train wreck during the start of Caravan, but they pulled it back when the backing track failed.
  6. QUOTE (TwentyOneTwelve @ May 23 2011, 02:32 PM) Just got back and despite not being able to see much (short arse + no screens) very often, I had a blast! Thought the crowd where I was were a lot more into it than at Manchester and overall I think it was a better show. Spoke to a lovely guy next to me during the interval from Northern Ireland who mentioned being on some Rush forums so if you see this! Had a really great time, thought Marathon in particular was amazing. That was me! Glad you enjoyed yourself. We'll have to see about getting you a seat with a better view during their next tour. Birmingham sounded pretty good and the arena was pretty much filled. They have done quite a bit of work at the arena since I was last over for the S+A tour in 2007.
  7. Glasgow do have the best choir. No doubt about it.
  8. Birmingham seemed to be pretty much full. Some spare seats in the two far corners at the back.

  10. Enjoyed the Dublin gig. Certainly it was good to see Rush in Ireland for the first time ever. First set has a few songs that slow the pace down a little, but the second set is better. After attending Glasgow on Saturday night I noticed that there are more 'effects' with the flames, so I'm assuming they weren't able to do the full stage show in Dublin due to Health and Safety issues. Hopefully Rush come back to Ireland and play Belfast next time as well.
  11. QUOTE (Hatchetaxe&saw @ Feb 5 2011, 07:00 PM) Write to the band's management and tell them what a diehard fan you are. Instant meet and greet and maybe a clandestine visit to their hotel rooms guaranteed. Especially Neil, he'll bring out a second glass and split a bottle of Macallan with you. Just don't touch his sandwich.
  12. I voted for it as my favourite track from Vapor Trails. It was my favourite track when I first listened to the album when it came out, and it's still my favourite track now.
