What part of Florida are you in? Northeast Fla, just south of JAX here and we got some rain but nothing much to speak of in terms of wind. It wasn't bad at all. Saint Augustine? Half way in between Jax and St Augustine. Ah. That’s very near one of my bros. If not exactly the same spot Well if we are ever allowed to travel again and you're in the area, shoot me a text and I'll buy you a drink. :cheers: Most of the Blaze clan is in Jax so yeah, whenever I hit the states (about once every 2-3 years) i always go there. I like Saint Augustine quite a bit so I like hitting that town any chance I get. Its a cute little area with lots of good restaurants and shopping. That's why we moved here. I like St. Augustine, and it was probably Karen's favorite Florida town. We did a number of 2-3 day stays there, just walking through Old Town, along with eating and drinking. With luck I'll get back up there, after family trips to MI and AZ. It IS my favorite town in Florida. Couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve been there. I remember the days when Castillo de San Marcos always had a water-filled moat. I know that it was originally dry BUT in the 70s and 80s it always was filled. Anytime I’ve gone in the last several years it was dry. The cobblestone area with all the shops and restaurants used to be pretty empty but it was still a pretty cool area to go for a stroll. It’s been much more lively the last several years but I don’t think it’s been overwhelming in any way. Its always just crowded enough to seem relevant but not so crowded as to be annoying. Lots of really nice beaches close too that are never that crowded.

Meaty topics are fine imho...just hope it doesn’t devolve into the nastiness which sometimes goes down in SOCN. :pussy: :P Having a thick skin in SOCN shouldn’t be the signal for others to be the biggest dick they can be. I guess I am showing my age. If something you read on a message board or social media is ruining your day, you have big problems and they are yours and yours alone. Well maybe your therapist as well... Yeah, of course “Don’t let things get to you” especially message board posts. But come on, being a dick isn’t something anyone should strive to be. Obviously. Nothing on SOCN has bothered me but i see plenty of dicks flapping around in there. You know you do too. Hell I am one of them. That's what makes the place so fun!! Where do you live that is allowing a grocery store to be so packed with people right now that you can't keep a distance? You should come down here. Wall to wall people and almost no one wearing masks. If I came in contact with someone infected, I wouldn't even begin to know how to get tested yet everyone here seems to get them on demand somehow. Tested every month? I have never been tested once.

NPR had a segment on about a year ago in which they discussed how, when it comes to pop music, melody is (mostly) dead. That's the hip hop phenomenon, where the emphasis is rhythm and the notes have little range. I wonder how much of it comes from the same small group of professional music writers who write everything and then the flavor of the month just "sings" it. Maybe this isn't true outside of rock music but most of the bands I grew up listening to, wrote most of their own music and lyrics and so it wasn't hard to find bands that were unique and didn't sound like anyone else. Now, everything sounds the same.

I did the same thing. I watched the first 4 or 5 and then it didn't hold my attention. I`ve just started Trial 4. You reckon it`s worth sticking with? I did. Still not convinced the guy is innocent. Watch the whole thing then we can discuss. I have a thread about it in SOCN because one of the posters there is\was a prosecutor in Boston and I wanted to get his thoughts. Yes, I saw that just as I was scrolling through Netflix trying to pick. Give it a spin.
