Never cared for What You're Doing. It is okay. Finding My Way is great. Rush were "fiding their way" back then. A great song for the beginning of the start of a great band!

I just can't believe someone would be so weak as to not be able to control themselves when given such trust and priviledge by a band that rarely grants it. No wonder they are so private. I mean, to commit this act of wrecklessness (playing their unreleased music without their permission) once is bad enough, but twice! This reminds me a little of Geoffrey Giuliano who wrote the Pete Townshend biography Behind Blue Eyes (a must for any Who and/or Townshend fan). Pete graciously let him into his life, invited him into his home etc. only for Giuliano to go into Pete's studio and dig through the Tommy master tapes, be confronted by Pete about it, deny it, then be asked again if he did it and have Pete call him "not only a *&%, but a lying *&% as well" and be kicked out of Pete's house and good graces as well. Later, Pete forgave him, but it was never the same. HOW STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been wondering whatever happened to Bill Banasiewicz nicknamed "B- Man" by Rush. I greatly enjoyed his book, Rush Visions: The Official Biography. Years ago around the time of Presto, on the show Rockline, someone called in and asked if they keep in touch with him or anything. Geddy was quiet and Alex kind of paused and said, "No...not really." End of story. Next call. I found this very strange considering how close he seems to have been with the band at the time of the book. I wonder what happened, if anything.

I went with Subdivisions. When I first heard it on the "Spring Training Tour 1982" I immediately loved it. They also played Analog Kid which was cool too. I like the whole album.

Yes I like it. I love dogs too! I always wondered (and still do) if parts of this song are a jibe at Rush Limbaugh. Especially being that in the mid-90's when people said "Rush", they were either talking about our boys (hopefully) or "the other one". For example: "With every scratch it reappears" "For every sad son of a bitch" " With his tail between his ears" "In a dog's brain A constant buzz of low-level static One sniff at the hydrant And the answer is automatic" "It seems to me As well make our own few circles 'round the block We've lost our senses For the higher-level static of talk" Think about it!

You know you're a Rush fan when: 1. You have to listen to them more and more and go out and get all their albums and DVD's. 2. You want to listen to the bands and musicians who have influenced them. 3. You buy any magazine that has them mentioned in it, however so small. 4. You become interested in checking out books by Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, John Dos Passos and others. 5. You watch The Twilight Zone. 6. You take an interest in Buddy Rich and Big Band Music! 7. You check out the music of bands that have opened for Rush to see what the combination of them and Rush may have been like. 8. Your girlfriend/boyfriend tells you its either her/him or going to a Rush concert. You go to the concert. 9. Your wife/husband tells you to "grow up" and stop listening to/watching/going to see Rush and being such a fanatic to the band or she/he will file for divorce. You call your lawyer. 10. You fly to Brazil (or anywhere over 5,000) miles to see Rush! 11. You go to Canada to see Lakeside Park, Massey Hall, the Laurentian Mountains and Le Studio. 12. You start having soup at least once a week! 13. You line-up for tickets at least 12 hours before Rush tickets go on sale. 14. After buying a new Rush album, you go home and immediately and listen to it with headphones on while reading the lyrics. 15. You keep all the Rush t-shirts, tour programs and ticket stubs no matter how old they are. 16. You buy all solo albums and side projects by Alex, Geddy and Neil. 17. You are inspired to learn to play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, or sing even if you never previously have in your life. 18. You can sing to and know the lyrics to every Rush song. 19. You can air drum any of Neil's drum fills. 20. You name your pet or pets after Alex, Geddy, or Neil or a Rush song title!
