  8. Anything on Presto..... 1989-90 was a transitional time for me as a young father-husband moving my family to a new town and there's not a single note on that album I dislike.
  9. QUOTE (tullfan @ Sep 5 2012, 10:00 PM) Sorry guys, but Clockwork Angles is not a good Rush album, Geoff Downes is correct, Fly from Here is a way better album than Clockwork Angles. Yes still delivers the prog while Rush keeps disappointing their prog fans. Please enlighten us with your full take on Clockwork Angles? The Angels deserve a little better.
  10. QUOTE (Todem @ Jun 18 2012, 11:56 AM) 3/17/83 & 3/18/83 Went to back to back nights in Hollywood Florida for the Signals tour. I was 13 and just in awe of it all. I had the crappiest seats all the way in the rear of the arena....but it did not matter. This was my first rock concerts ever to boot. I will never forget it. I don't remember some of it....but I do remember certain things. Like the ho hum crowd reaction to all the stuff off Signals and anytime Geddy would say here is a new one off Signals and the groaning from some people around me...I was like WTF are you crazy??? This is amazing stuff!!! And TCE being played at an insane pace....like they were on cocaine! Anyway great times. Ahhhh The Hollywood Sportatorium. These were my first two shows and I was 17 at the time.
  11. QUOTE (shail @ Jul 4 2012, 09:31 AM) nothing special going on drumming wise on this record. solid rock drumming. the fills are basic. like beginner first year playing drums basic. works for the music though. Fart Testing Troll!!! The "beginner first year playing" comment robs you of any credibility. Sorry I bit team.

  15. I went to the Kansas City show and was able to buy 4 second tier reserved tickets together on the morning of the concert. Seating appeared to be almost sold out though and I believe the KC venue holds about 8100.
