I could kill half a loaf of bread that way! Can't do that anymore! lol I could. If I suddenly decided I wanted to be as big as a house, no problem!
True confessions ... I had a weakness for Cinnamon/Sugar toast in my yout, er youth. Welcome to the board BTW and Mara!
"Did you say 'yout'? What's a yout?"
My yout ... I believe was a Joe Peschi-ism ... cannot remember the movie title ... and/or could be mistaken ...
yout = youth ... as in, back in my youth
I just might be leaking/lacking brain cells
Did I miss the context?
EOM.
yout is a Brooklyn term for a Punk who doesn't eat his Toast with Jam while he suffers with the Mumps!!.. I may be wrong?

edit: Jackson Browne right?
If you get up close to the statue, it sort of favors Jackson Browne - one of the song co-writers and supposedly was the one who was stranded in Winslow when his car broke down.
The statue and corner is located at Standin' in the Corner Park in the middle of Winslow. The street next to it is part of the historic U.S. Route 66.
You only needed a girl in a flatbed ford to slow down and take a look at you.
Read the whole thread...I done posted that!
Looks like a fine sunny day..

QUOTE (Slaine mac Roth @ May 2 2010, 04:37 AM) Quite recently, James, Mary and myself were inviting to the wedding of someone I work with. Sadly, James was ill and unable to go, much to the disapointment of Lucas, the 3 year old son of a friend who, like James, is very much into dinosaurs. The main reason Lucas was disapointed was the fact that he wanted to ask James some questions about different dinosaurs. However, when Lucas and his mother, Sam, arrived, Mary ran up to meet them and, aftertelling Lucas that James had been unable to attend, she told him not worry because, proudly stating, "James shares all his knowledge with."
In addition, Mary had a great time because it was one of the few occasions she was able to dress up.

By the way, that's Lucas visible underneath Mary's arm. Plus he keeps asking his Mum when he's going to see her againShe's growing into a very pretty young lady, Slaine.. And i hope James is feeling better..

QUOTE (metaldad @ Apr 12 2010, 11:04 AM) QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Apr 8 2010, 07:59 AM) I finally got to grill cheeseburgers Sunday night and they were delicious! When I'm grilling them, I start with an ordinary meat patty and periodically dump a little Worcestershire sauce on them as I'm grilling them (and when that sauce hits the flame it is pungent! They could use that stuff for crowd control!) However, I'm looking for something a little different, maybe some good spices to mix with the meat or whatever. I'm asking if any of you backyard chefs out there would mind sharing your burger recipes. Please?
Thanks!Try putting the Worcestershire sauce in the meat while you make the burger. Then you grill it . I do it all the time. I top it off with a little Montreal Steak seasoning . Great flavor
Ditto!!!
Happy Anniversary, Pags!
