I never payed much attention to COS until about 6 months ago. Now, except the "bald" song, it is one of my favorites. I think that this album clearly shows an "underlying theme". Well, to me that is. "My eyes have just been opened and their open very wide". That line gives me chills (the good kind). I think Lamneth is perfect from beginning to end and shows that the guys are not about commercialism but about putting their feelings out their. If a song, or in this case the whole catalog of Rush music, can touch me in the depths of my heart, that's some great stuff!
