  1. I had Ace's and Gene's solo albums. I liked Ace's quite a bit. I remember seeing a review of Gene's solo album in a music publication and all it said (I kid you not) was this... "Gene Simmons is Alice Cooper". ps.. Hey Test4VitalSigns.....that face at the bottom of your posts is freaking me out...!
  2. QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Feb 22 2006, 04:52 PM) QUOTE Can't say I agree at all with him on his political views or appreciate his affiliation with the NRA. I don't agree with Ted either! Word! Ya gotta respect anyone with that kind of conviction regarding their views/beliefs. He did some fun music in the 70's he was like Mr. album-a-week back then. I saw Ted live in 1980 at Canada Jam in Winnipeg and it was the loudest thing I've ever heard; like Ted was playing a Black and Decker guitar...!
  3. QUOTE (treeduck @ Aug 17 2006, 10:14 PM) I like... http://www.wallpaperbase.com/wallpapers/celebs/claireforlani/claire_forlani_7.jpg Claire Forlani is the reason my fave chick flick is "Meet Joe Black". (close second - Minnie Driver)
  4. I bought Aerial the week it was released...before that, while Kate was away I found solace with Tori Amos, oft compared to Kate. I think they're both brilliant.
  5. I think DC has a bit of an edge, although I grew up buying only Marvel. I thought the Spidey movies were brilliant. The new Superman movie looks good from viewing the trailers and I actually liked the first Batman movie with Keaton and Jack Nicholson a little better than the new Batman. (I'm probably a minority with that view...!) What did you guys think of the Daredevil or Elektra movies?
  6. The Original Planet of the Apes had the most surprising ending for me.
  7. I haven't read ALL of the replies to this thread, but (in case it hasn't been mentioned yet...) you can get Heart doing Barracuda on a DVD called "Let it Rock" . A collection of 22 Rare TV appearances by some classic (and not so classic... ) bands. Michael Derosier (may have mispelled his name ) smokes on drums...for me that was the classic Heart lineup. (Heart/Little Queen era) The Heart song is pretty much the highlight of the DVD for me. I've seen Heart twice...once opening for April Wine around 1976-77 in Saskatoon and then around 1980 at Canada Jam in Winnipeg. Love 'em!!!! Esp. Mrs.Crowe!
  8. I'm the red muppet alien. Yep yep yep yep yep yep yep. http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j15/2Soups/YipYip.jpg
