Oh my gosh, Twitter was epic last night! The guy that flipped off Wilson after the interception blew up the Internet. Sports betting is legal in Massachusetts now and you can bet pretty much right down to what color shoelaces a guy might have. My supervisor had a bet that if the Jets scored a rushing touchdown in each game this year, he would win 16 grand. He almost took care of game one early in the first quarter when the guy broke off for the 75 yard run. And that was it. They only came close once after that and got stopped. Bet lost.

Belichick is lying through his teeth when he blames the salary cap for anything. For the previous 7 years, the Patriots have ranked 31st in actual cash spending. The cap is a mirage that can be manipulated to serve any purpose you need. The simple truth of the matter is they're cheap bastards, and Bill's ego is too big too admit that you actually have to pay for talent. Since Brady left he's been exposed as a fraud. 90% percent of the callers on the largest Boston radio station hate the guy. The Patriots actually lead the league in former draft picks playing on other teams. Everyone of those teams paid less for the player than the Pats did originally.

It's gotta be tough when every argument you make for your teams of choice requires the word "if". "If" Marino had better teams... "If" Brady had worse teams... "If" Asante Samuel had caught that ball... "If" Eli had a worse defense.... "If" The Cubs didn't fall apart after Bartman (OK, that hurt. I was at the games in Miami). Winning every now and then helps to soften the blow when you take it on the chin.

I'm not sure comparing Super Bowl stats is your best path here....

Grace sounds very cold to me. As much as I would want a Steinberger to relive my teen years through a mid-life crisis, it really did sound like shit. The tones of each instrument just did not seem to blend well. I love the songs, they just needed to be recorded with warmer-sounding instruments.

Is this real? It sounds like some sort of high-tech wizardry. I can hear Collins's voice fine, but it too perfectly matches Geddy's enunciation, and accent.

This has been a lost year for me with everything going on with my dad. I finally forced myself to get out Friday before work and actually had the best round I've ever had. I shot at 46 with four pars. I've never parred more than two holes on this course on any round. I was with two co workers, one who always shoots in the high 30s and the other 1 who always is right about where I was. The second one is ultra competitive though and did not like the fact that we were tied going into the ninth hole. I choked my approach and wound up with a six. His par attempt was about six feet short and he picked it up, calling it a bogey. Me and the other guy just shared a quiet laugh. Since we don't play for money there was no point in saying anything.
