  5. QUOTE (2112-Rob-2112 @ Jun 18 2006, 06:25 PM) u guys see the unrated where his eye pops out No! Cool
  6. "I think you might not understand what it is I do..." Pesci's a classic. "Charlie M!?!? YOu make me pop out your eyeball for Charlie M.!?!?!!?"
  7. Lots of good ones, but The Cos was the best (minus that last year with Pam character ). AFter becoming a parent (three times) I find myself laughing at stuff he said and did on the show that were right on the mark. "Son, you still beeboppin' to whatever's going through your head?"
  8. QUOTE (barney_rebel @ May 21 2005, 07:42 PM) How about more colour schemes? Maybe color schemes themed to Rush albums? Or Pirates?
  9. The guy is like a fine wine, hes never looked better than now, or in album-ease, VT/Rio.
  10. "What am I on your pay no mind list!" "What, I never dug a hole before?"

  12. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Jun 5 2006, 08:32 AM) QUOTE (lerxt1990 @ Jun 4 2006, 07:47 PM) QUOTE (anagramking @ Apr 24 2006, 10:00 PM) QUOTE (Modest Man From Mandrake @ Apr 24 2006, 10:19 AM) I picked Casino. I though Nicky Santoro was a much better characer than, Tommy DeVito. I mean both characters were great, but I think Nicky was just a little better than Tommy. In Goodfellas you don't see much when Tommy gets whacked. In that scene in Casino in the Cornfield when they kill Nicky & Dominick it's really messy and brutal. I think it added to the impact of Nicky getting whacked. The guy that whacked Pesci's character in Good Fellas plays Uncle Junior on the Sopranos, Dominic Chianese. Edit: I'm wrong on this, never mind. I don't see any credits for Chianese in GoodFellas. But I'd swear it was him. Oh well. Chianese was in Godfather II, apparently. I haven't seen it in a long time, though. Youre not that far off. The guy that kills Pesci was Billy Batts in Goodfellas and is Phil Leotardo in The Sopranos (Frank Vincent). For the record, Uncle Junior was Johnny Ola in The Godfather Part II. I wonder if there's a family tree somewhere that relates these characters. And Michael Imperioli, who plays Christopher Moltisanti on 'The Sopranos', played Spider in 'Goodfellas'. "let him crawl to the doctor, like he crawls with the drinks!" classic.
  13. You think so? I thought it was kinda dull. The only laugh out loud moment for me was when Phil said he had to go take a shit. For me the highlight of funny this year was when Christopher (easily had the most classic lines of the year) beat up Lauren Bacall. Christophers line of the year (there were many) is tied between, "Eh dont you think its ironic that Lou Gehrig died of Lou Gehrig's disease" and "Allegra? They named her after a cold medicine?" and "Yeah, you know that show, Law and Order SUV..." Classics.
  14. QUOTE (2112-Rob-2112 @ Jun 4 2006, 08:59 PM) I liked Casino more beacuse it focused more on De Niro and Pesci and not on that loser Ray Liota. Ill bet you love that scene where he cried with his wife cause she flushed his coke down the toilet - while claiming that the cops would have "never found it".

  16. QUOTE (GhostGirl @ May 29 2006, 10:08 AM) QUOTE (lerxt1990 @ May 29 2006, 08:28 AM) QUOTE (GhostGirl @ May 28 2006, 10:02 PM) Autism and most likely diseases like tourette's are caused when an environmental insult such as a toxin in the air or vaccine "turns on" a genetic predisposition to said disease. Also, I am by no means anti-vaccine. I'm for SAFE vaccines. Big difference. Just to be a skeptic here is that a widely held belief that a toxin or environmental factor has to be present. I personally have trouble believing that, given genetic factors relating to the disease.... The symptoms of mercury poisoning and autism are frighteningly similar. Also, the incidence of autism has increased in an epidemic fashion. Fifteen years ago the rate was about 1 in 10,000. Today it's 1 in 166. And no, it's not due to better diagnosis. We're talking about classic autism that no one could just "miss." There's no such thing as a genetic epidemic. *gets off soapbox now* Those are facts Im aware of, but they still dont prove a cause and effect from an environmental toxin to the occurance of the disease. It seasy to say "we dont know what it is, so it must be some environmental toxin" - but thats not statistically vigorous enough to be an explination. Im only mentioning this because cause and effect relationship are very tenuous in medicine, and its very difficult to make broad swath connections without a lot of proof. I am very skeptical about statistics and medical statistics even more.
  17. I have friends and aquaintences dealing with the disease, and Ive seen a continuum of behavioral symptoms ranging from mild to more severe. In cases Im aware of these parents (heroes) care for their children - and the children still provide a rich life for their families, if an atypical one.

  19. Usuallt this kind of thing is released as someone is trying to get another research grant. If your working on something that needs to exploit a loophole of einsteins theory, then your really doing something hard. Im not even sure I buy that this is practical...light is VERY easily scatterred & reflected by minute material imperfections.... ~Skeptic
  20. Aw shucks. He was good as the VP in BC; but I will always remember him as Clarence Peaks (Beaks?) in Trading Places.
