  7. Wow,seems like alot of you around here are into Nightwish now. Good Job Kazz & Emmy. For myself I first saw Nightwish in 2001 on the Wacken Open Air, and they sound interesting. Later that year I heard the Century Child album and was into it. Saw them 3 times now, and I hope that the DVD boot from Braunschweig/Germany this year will be released soon. Anybody know about Edenbridge??? Near to Nightwish but with a clear female vioce and more with classical touch and arrangements. Check them out.

  9. QUOTE (esmeralda @ May 8 2005, 02:31 PM) That was a long time ago, Aardschok Festival I think it was 1979, with Saxon, Accept, Raven (good memories about this band) and some more. A mighty Hail to you for seeing Accept in these days I will see them again this year in Wacken. 26 years later. Woohoooo
  10. My first show was in Dezember 1990, as I went with a friend to a German comedy Band called "Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung" or "EAV" in short. They are all good musicans and their lyrics are funny in the first place but when you listen and think about you will find out that the lyrics have a deep meaning. And that is not easy to realize I love the band till today. The Scorpions were the next band I saw. In their hometown!!! 1991
  11. The only song of New Order I know is "Blue Monday" which is great. Anybody knows the former Band Joy Division? That was with Ian Curtis on vocals before he died. I am more into that.
  12. QUOTE (kazzman @ May 2 2005, 06:06 PM) Nine Inch Nails, Tiamat, Miles Beyond How did you came across Tiamat, Dude? I thought I was the only one who know them, OK RR too.
  13. Finaly I bought The Black Halo as a limited edition together with the new release of a German Goth Rock band called Lacrimosa.
  14. QUOTE (Test4VitalSigns @ May 2 2005, 04:14 PM) oh ye forgot Nightwish and Kamelot ...thanx to kazz Nightwish is a long time fave but Kamelot came to me through Kazz Beside that I love the old Teutonic Metal like Helloween and Accept, all the way through time till our days. Also I love Synthesizer music like Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis or Kraftwerk. Not to forget about the Gothic Rock stuff, The Cure, Fields of the Nephilim & Lacrimosa. Alot of different styles, and none of them are common where I live (Germany).
  15. The one that makes my cry is Kai Hansen and his Solo in "How many Tears" by Helloween. You have to listen..... The solo is about 3 minutes more a instrumental part than a solo but one the best I know. Another great solo is the sliding guitar in "This flight tonight" by Nazareth. Not to forget about Mike Oldfield and his work on Tubular Bell II.
  16. QUOTE (Cygnus @ Apr 13 2005, 05:47 PM) Lita Ford was hot Her Duett with Ozzy is awesome

  19. QUOTE (nebbish @ Apr 12 2005, 05:50 AM) Jon Bon Jovi
  20. Two new records here Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells from 1973, finaly make to get my own copy. Allways had burned one never make it to the original Paradise Lost - Paradise Lost Back to the Roots, this one sounds more like "Icon" and "Draconian Times". Looks like they leave the stuff like "One second" and "Host" behind.
