QUOTE (fenderjazz @ Apr 28 2009, 04:29 PM) Probably just a database issue that can be cleared quickly once our server guy is on the case. CP is backed up regularly, right?

Nobody would dare do a remake of Gilligan's Island, thankfully. I'm pretty sure it is too ingrained into the national consciousness for anybody to accept other actors in those roles.
I hope you're right. BUT it didn't stop them from making a reality show based on GI. And there were a few tv movies made after the show was cancelled that didn't use the same GINGER actress.
That would be Tina Louise who played Ginger. I think there was some friction behind the scenes regarding that actress.
In the seventies, she played on The Stepford Wives movie and Look What's Happened to Rosemary's Baby.
She was such a hottie in her day!

I voted for movies based on video games. One other category is movies made from tv-series. How long 'till we have a 6 Million Dollar Man movie (Johnny Knoxville or Jim Cary, you decide)? Or a Love Boat movie?

QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Jul 2 2006, 06:39 PM) Hey... if you like Heavy Metal, you may also like one of my favorite animated movies - Ralph Bakshi's Wizards. It's been panned in every movie guide, but it has something of a cult following. I'm into it, and I own it. I saw Wizards in the theater way back when it was new. I liked it, but I was maybe 12 at the time. Not sure if I'd like it now.

QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Jun 20 2006, 05:24 AM) Alex's most emotional guitar solo EVER.
Great guitar work throughout... very moody.Alex said the solo was heavily influenced by Steve Hacket.

QUOTE (Planet X-1 @ Jun 1 2006, 05:26 AM) QUOTE (JARG @ May 26 2006, 04:58 PM) Another favorite musical moment is Alex's flub near the beginning of Closer To The Heart (studio version). The intro is played on a 12 string and Alex accidentially strikes the same note twice during the intro. Fer shame, Alex doesn`t make mistakes ! Your ear-needle just skipped !

I like the sound of Neil closing his hi-hat at the very end of Passage To Bangkok...it's the last thing you hear during the fade-out...nice quiet little "snap".

Counterparts ( rushmessageboard.com ) Down
in Reverse Polarity
Posted
This forum has never had these kinds of problems since the time I have been here.
I think I might consider unsubscribing from that board.
I really wish the Counterparts board would get it together and to please stop being down so much. Or maybe the whole board should be canceled altogether.
I like this cat! He/she would be a perfect fit for CP!
