  2. This Ohio State vs Michigan battle and controversy surrounding Barrett's fourth down conversion and Harbaugh's after game tirade, gave me a instant flash back as a kid . The 1973 game when the #1 Buckeyes and #4 Wolverines played to a 10-10 tie(no overtime then) Everyone thought Michigan dominated both sides of the ball but waiting on pins & needles for the Big Ten athletic directors to decide who was going to the Rose bowl January 1st.. Picked in favor of the Buckeyes made the breaking news across the state of Ohio . Me and my dad were jubilant national news news conference followed shortly with Wolverine head coach Bo Schembechler giving angry speech of disgust about the directors decision.. I guess it's true.."More things change the more they stay the same.." :P

Then there's the Suckeyes beating Miami in the Orange Bowl when they score after a 'Caines PI penalty that never happened.

    Obviously it did.

Miami had opportunity after the "penalty" and the Buckeyes defense slammed the door, game over..

  4. Officials hand it to Ohio State. Boo.

    http://www.usatoday....state/94480006/

Surprisingly, Jim Harbaugh agrees. ;) There was a totally blown defensive holding no-call in overtime that forced Michigan into a 4th down field goal. Then, they give forward progress on 4th down to the Ohio State quarterback...

"I thought there were some outrageous calls, including the one that would have ended the game,” the Wolverines head coach said. “I was bitterly disappointed with the officiating.”The play he referred to — multiple times — was Ohio State’s attempt on fourth-and-1 in the second overtime. Quarterback J.T. Barrett kept the ball and tried to extend for the first down. Officials spotted the ball and ruled the play a first down, and upheld the call after a brief official review.

The OSU quarterback ran into his own guy, stopping the ball what I thought was short of the first down, but the refs gave him the friendly spot and upheld it on review.

(Harbaugh) pointed out that the Buckeyes were called for just two penalties all game — for 6 total yards — adding that he felt there were “multiple holding calls and multiple false starts” against Ohio State that went uncalled.

Another take on the officiating here...http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/michigan-has-legit-beef-with-controversial-spot-on-ohio-states-fourth-down-conversion/

Michigan has legit beef with controversial spot on Ohio State's 4th-down conversion

Well... The Wolverines had opportunity to stop the Buckeyes... They didn't... Can't blame the refs on that..

  5. Jackets have been playing with confidence this year, With mix of consistent play of call ups from the Calder Cup champions Cleveland Monsters. And veterans captain Nick Foligno,Cam Atkinson,Scott Hartnell getting back to form along with last years leading scorer defenseman Seth Jones contributing. Top that with outstanding goaltending by Sergei Bobrovsky who recorded his third shutout . It's been fun to watch say the least compared last season record losing streak that started the season... :haz:
  6. "Even if the New Browns were to become successful I'd still see them as a different thing, a different legacy. They can trot out Jim Brown from time to time but it's still not the same team. Wish they had been called the Bulldogs, in honor of both the Canton Bulldogs and the old Dawg Pound; leave the Old Browns legacy out of it." :fistbump:  I always felt that way when the new 1999 version Browns came back, they don't deserve to be attached with the winning legacy of the original Browns. Modell is the one who granted Cleveland the right to use the name.. Btw I'm from Canton and always had interest in the history of early years pro football.. Fyi The Canton Bulldogs moved to Cleveland and won NFL title in 1924.. ;)

  7. Well.. Last night was a complete turn around from game one , Bauer on the mound is always a worry no middle ground with that guy either pitches lights out or unfortunately the results from last night is the other end of the spectrum .. The whole team played lousy no excuses, like Tito said in post game he's surprised it didn't end up worse think the Cubs would've doubled there run count making it 10-1 all the sloppy miscues.. On a side note.. I wonder why the Fox booth didn't mention Chicago's Schwarber and the injury he's working through?? :eyeroll: :sarcastic: Jesus we get it.. Him and Joe Buck need get a room...

  8. Penn State just BEAT Ohio State !! 24- 21 !! Wow, the Whiteout worked !!!

    Penn State 24

    Ohio State 21

That Whiteout was GREAT! I think it blinded the ref so much, he couldn't see the pass interference by the Penn State cornerback in the last 2 minutes......

If the Ohio State Univ would have played up to their capability, they'd have never been in the situation to begin with. Suckeyes.

I agree Buckeyes lost this game by stupidity no help from the refs. What the hell was the kicking problem all of a sudden????
  9. Starting with the Indiana game struggle then the Wisconsin survival the results from yesterday Ohio State loss wasn't so shocking or monumental for me.. Still, Buckeyes should've won but i've always been suspect of national rankings including my OSU Buckeyes. Granted beating Oklahoma propelled them in position top four but Sooners already loss prior to Ohio State game so they also shouldn't been ranked high to begin with think there #16 now?
  10. CLEVELAND CAVALIERS!!!!! :notworthy: :haz:

    REALLY???

The Warriors will kick your ass in 2017.

They must of FIXED all those wins Warriors got in regular season... GO CAVS!!!!
  11. I will be the first to admit at this early stage on paper at least.. If the Warriors don't go all the way I would be shocked..It could be even more humiliating then the historic massive choke job from last season... Team chemistry is the key can't just throw all stars together everyone has a place and some might have lesser roles then what there use to. Egos clash need time to gel.. GO CAVS!!!! :haz:
  12. The two teams with the longest championship droughts in MLB. Already a historic year in baseball for these two teams, and the outcome, no matter which winner, will be monumental.

    /beginShitpost

Bring it, Tribe. Everyone already hates your city because of the Cavs this year and the Browns every year.

    /endShitpost

 That's why we say it's Cleveland vs The World... Love it Couldn't ask for a better series match up.. GO TRIBE!!!! :haz:

Joey Fat Lip can suck it! (sorry Geddy.)

I will from here on out have a special place in my heart for the Indians. Happy to see one of my favorite players ever, Mike Napoli, have another go at a World Series pennant. He really deserves to win one.
