  1. I wonder when this will go up on Amazon?
  2. Finally, The Camera Eye from the MP Tour pro-mixed!
  3. To all the folks that think there's no demand for 40th Anniversary sets after Signals, you're so wrong. I'm 53. Plenty of us grow up during your much despised "keyboard era" and it is the soundtrack of our teenage years. Grace Under Pressure was my first new Rush release and my grails are a full audio show which includes the Red Lenses drum solo and the best version of Between the Wheels + the full concert video on Blu-Ray. After that, I'd flip for full audio/video shows of Power Windows, Hold Your Fire, Presto, Roll the Bones, Counterparts and Test for Echo. I know there are bits and pieces of Power Windows, Hold Your Fire, Presto and Test for Echo out there, but I crave full professionally mixed shows of all those tours and video would be amazing! Rush made a hell of a lot of albums post Terry Brown and there are many of us who love them just as much as you folks enjoy the Terry Brown era.
  4. Waiting to see the Amazon price. I bet it will be lower and actually get delivered on the release date. Oh, and we won't be gouged for shipping like at the Rush Backstage Club.
  5. Super excited to get a FULL Moving Pictures show. VERY disappointed not to get a blu ray video of a full show ala Exit...Stage Left + Bonus footage. Annoyed that I have to pay $300 for the Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Blu Ray of the studio album.
  6. Check out the Steve Hoffman Forums. Sectors is considered absolute garbage. I could care less what he thinks. All that matters....is what my ears think. It's the forum members, not Steve Hoffman. The general consensus now is that the 2015 LP remasters, available as HD downloads, are far superior. I've been doing A/B comparisons & they are absolutely right. Interesting. Need to check those out!! I've been chasing these all month! The Hi Res downloads of the 2015 vinyl remasters are a treasure!
  7. I think you're right. But I'd say they would go up to Power Windows. HYF, RTB, and Presto were where the old-Rush fans dropped off sharply. Maybe they don't need to do 'box sets'. Maybe 40th anniversary special edition CD/DVD packages are enough. Just put some good stuff in the booklets. I've never bought a box-set from any band, except for the first Rush album reissue. But I'll buy a CD/DVD for an anniversary every time for a Rush, DT, Metallica, PT...... I guess we selective forget that Roll the Bones was their last platinum album after two poor sellers? I know, for a fact, that many folks, younger than me, got into RUSH during Roll the Bones. I know...the horror! Hahahahaha! Once again, I'm a diehard Post Terry Brown fan & I'll buy every one of these 40th Anniversary sets!
  8. I dunno. Someone just bought my Vapor Trails vinyl for $650. I think there's a lot of us that love Post Terry Brown Rush.
  9. I hope at some point they will be done with. I don't think there's anything really interesting to buy for a 40th anniversary package after the Terry Brown period. For the box sets that have already been released, some fans gripe about things that aren't satisfactory to them. It's as if the assumption or expectation that the band has a tonne of archival stuff when they don't. These completist type individual's just don't get it. Also it seems ridiculous if there's going to be anniversary packages for all the band's albums. I rarely see any musician influenced by RUSH discuss anything from the early 80's and beyond that influenced them in their musical beginnings. There's tribute bands of course that play all of RUSH's material. However for historical significance, the Terry Brown period is what RUSH will be remembered most for. Gotta say that I loathe the ignorance of the stuck in the Terry Brown period RUSH fans. They refuse to accept that there are A LOT of us that LOVE Rush after Terry Brown left. Heck! My #1 most wanted 40th Anniversary is Grace Under Pressure! I'm praying they have the full concert audio from the VHS, laserdisc, DVD release and, hopefully, the footage of the full concert and make it available on Blu-Ray. I'd also love full concerts of Hold Your Fire, Roll the Bones, Counterparts and more. The only Terry Brown release I'm craving is Signals for a full concert live CD!

  11. And I'll be patient after 2024. That's when I hope to have the complete Grace Under Pressure Tour CD AND Blu-Ray! Must have the drum solo/Red Lenses AND the best live version of Between the Wheels!
  12. Actually I was wrong..not a missing lyric but a very odd transition not on the original release going into the second verse. It sounds terrible actually. And it is an obvious mistake to my ears. Other than that I love the Sectors remaster of this record. More bottom end, the string section in Mission sounds glorious and some cool little guitar blasts from Alex on High Water. Explain how and when...I've listened to the sector HYF a bunch of times and never picked up on this You don't hear the added strings on Mission???

  14. It will be a damn shame if the 40th Anniversary sets are done.
  15. This thread is hilarious to read now that most people say the Sectors & Atlantic box sets are brickwalled junk!
  16. That's fine, but Feedback was recorded by Rush in the studio. :D It's an EP, not an album. End of story. Rush calls CA their 20th studio album. Do they? Not doubting you, but I'd like to see that mentioned by them. If they do, then I will count Feedback as a studio album. If they say it is, it is.
  17. Was Roll the Bones released on vinyl in the US?
  18. You know Toto as well? I think we are going to be pals! :)
  19. That's fine, but Feedback was recorded by Rush in the studio. :D It's an EP, not an album. End of story.
  20. Thanks dude! What 7 albums haven't you heard yet? That's so exciting!
  21. I'm not including the Feedback EP. Clockwork Angels was the 19th studio album of original Rush material.
  22. I view Clockwork Angels as such a masterpiece that I'm spoiled now. I kind of don't want to go back to the days of 8 or 10 loosely, thematically linked songs. I want the next album to be another concept piece to continue building upon the success of Clockwork Angels. Who agrees?
  23. I'd like to know as well! I just called the Princeton Record Exchange & they said they have the vinyl, but no prints. You had to buy the vinyl at an indie record store most record stores got 2-3 of them they were not inside the lp. places like amazon and best buy etc did not get them. Thanks! I just scored one off eBay for $2.99.
