  1. The dance scene is one of the funniest things ever. Classic movie!
  2. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ May 31 2007, 01:14 PM)The first one was good but the sequels sucked. ^
  3. QUOTE (Test4VitalSigns @ May 31 2007, 04:56 AM) QUOTE (Snowman @ May 31 2007, 05:31 AM) There was a film I saw when I was little, I am not sure about the name but I think it was "Squirms". About worms that came up from the ground and started eating on people. I had nightmares for several months after seeing that film. I remember that movie! It was called Squirm. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v300/test4vitalsigns/squirm.jpg Even if the movie sucks it's got the best poster ever.
  4. I liked about the last hour of the movie...which isn't that good for a nearly three hour movie I guess. Depp rules as usual though, and the action was good. I'm with Mustard about FF2 also...I love the Silver Surfer character, but the first FF movie blew and the previews for this one look bad too. The guy who plays Johnny annoys the shit out of me for some reason.

I'm wearing my Ichi the Killer shirt right now. I'm wearing my MrMiltonBanana is awesome shirt right now. Great movie! I'm wearing my Mustard Death is awesome shirt right now. Just kidding, it's still Ichi. Well let me run down my list: Any other Takashi Miike (exceptions: Bird People in China) especially Gozu Suicide Club (Suicide Circle) Anything with Cher in it Aww.. you tricked me But yeah, Ichi's pretty great. So was Audition... haven't seen any other Miike films, unfortunately. Oh shit, you gotta watch Izo! Top 10 movie for me. It's not as graphic as some of Miike's other stuff, but it's way out there, even for Miike. I remember seeing the DVD for sale at Walmart too.
  6. QUOTE (condemned2bfree @ May 29 2007, 07:20 AM)QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ May 29 2007, 12:12 PM) QUOTE (condemned2bfree @ May 29 2007, 06:40 AM) Texas chainsaw - original, where the girl awakes to find that guy whos about 150 years old trying to kill her, family looking on. I will never watch it again! Disturbing, it was only later after that I found out it was a based on true events?! Poor people. Eraserhead, man thats a bizarre film. The bit when you finally see the non stop crying baby! The movie was VERY loosely based on serial killer Ed Gein. About the only connection was that him and Leatherface wore human skin. The part where the grandpa is trying to hit the girl with the hammer is hilarious to me though. After so many years of being desensitized by horror movies, it's hard for me to really be disturbed by something, but I do remember one scene that got me...the curbstomp from American History X. Now it's not so bad, but the first time seeing it... Whaaaaat you found that scene funny? man you have the constitution of an ox. Yeah I saw a documentary about that ed/leatherface guy afterwards.I thought what really happened was really different to the film. All those lives, lost Its still scared the crap outa me! Nah, that part just always seemed goofy to me. The rest of the movie is so dark and creepy, then they bring out that ancient looking old guy like "get'er grandpa!" There's things that make me cringe though, like broken bones sticking out (The Descent).

  8. That scene in Pee Wee's Big Adventure with Large Marge... http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/9963/largemargewr4.gif OH MY GOD.
  9. I really like the Genndy Tartakovsky animated Clone Wars. This one could be cool, but I'm kind of getting tired of CGI at the moment.
  10. 167 minutes, so it was actually about 2 hours and 48 minutes long. I don't think I could've sat through more.
  11. QUOTE (2112-Rob-2112 @ May 27 2007, 01:27 AM) so i finally saw Potc3. One of those movies that starts out very strong...and slowly gets more and more stupid. Its also unbelievably long for a disney movie...pushing alittle over 3 hours. The time is not what gets me. Its what happens in that time and well lets say its pretty damn boring. It has its funny moments and cool action scenes...and depp and rush were awesome in the movie and im glad to see Stellen Scarsgard returned to play bootstrap that was cool. But overall its one of those movies you watch 1nce every 2 years or so. I think its better then the 2nd though. 4/10 It wasn't over three hours, but yeah it was long, and felt longer than it was. It really wasn't that good except for the last 40 or so minutes. The action at the end was cool. Also, it was just goofy as hell. The other two had funny moments, but this one was like one stupid joke after another for most of the movie. 2/5
  12. Nice, Mike Patton jacked the DT thread, now there's something good about it. I love the guy. Mr. Bungle is classic, that's a given, but I love the first two Fantomas albums just as much.
  13. I love the cartoon, but I'm not sure how I feel about this movie. I haven't read much about it, don't know the basics of the plot or anything, but Michael Bay f***ing sucks. The old animated movie is good enough anyway. I like it better when they're in space fighting each other, rather than being cliche giant robots destroying a city. Besides...it has Orson Welles, Judd Nelson, Spock, Robert Stack, Eric Idle, Casey Kasem, and a scene where they dance to Weird Al's "Dare to Be Stupid".
  14. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/4/41/TheCritic2.jpg/200px-TheCritic2.jpg Sorry, I know that wasn't helpful. I actually haven't heard it, but I read that Shinoda doesn't rap on it, so it has to be better.
  15. QUOTE (Slime @ May 8 2007, 07:12 PM) I thought Carnage was a separate being from Eddie Brock/Venom, due to one piece of that symbiotic thing entering a lunatic asylum? Can we get the comic book fans in here to clear this up? I can't really remember but I think Eddie and Cletus were in the same cell in that prison. I get shit confused with what happened in the comics and the cartoon. Not really a big deal but it kinda bugged me that Venom referred to himself as "I" instead on "we" in the movie.
  16. QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ May 6 2007, 11:46 AM) QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ May 7 2007, 01:18 AM) They should've called this movie Emo Man. You might be thinking of XMEN 3. Maybe if Wolverine got a stylish new haircut and danced around...wait, that would've made that movie better.
  17. They should've called this movie Emo Man. Very disappointing, especially after how good the first two were.
  18. Very cool. Maybe in the sequels they could work in some of his other armor like the silver centurion suit. The red and silver would look sweet.
  19. Suspiria is a classic. Tenebrae is good stuff too. I can't remember if he directed the two Demons movies, I think he was the producer, but those were awesome too. He definitely had something to do with them. He also makes good kids.
  20. I liked the first few albums at one time, but I haven't listened to them in a long time. The singles from By the Way sounded okay, but didn't peak my interest enough to check out the album, and the four or five songs I've heard from Stadium sound like complete ass. That first single that was a complete Tom Petty ripoff was really bad.
  21. QUOTE (Test4VitalSigns @ Apr 29 2007, 06:25 AM) QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ Apr 28 2007, 06:11 AM) Gotta love Fulci's Zombie. Come on, there's a shark vs. zombie fight scene. I bought these shirts from Rotten Cotton: http://rottencotton.com/shirts/horror/311_ultimatezombie.gif http://rottencotton.com/shirts/horror/302_braindead.jpg I have never seen Zombie....til last night. Found a torrent for it and downloaded and check it out. Pretty cool! Hokey script, laughable deliveries by actors, some gross gore scenes.....perfect! The soundtrack was pretty cool...and the shark scene was hilarious and wild! Thanks Storm for the mention Nice! The eye scene is something too. Zombie is a classic in my book, glad you enjoyed it. I wouldn't even bother with Zombi 3 (Zombie's original title was Zombi 2, which was an unofficial sequel to Dawn of the Dead which was called Zombi in Italy...WTF?!!). Anyway, Fulci is credited as director of Zombi 3, but most of it was directed by Bruno Mattei, and it's pretty boring.
  22. I liked Land of the Dead a lot. I didn't really understand the mostly negative reviews it got from the fans, but I guess it was because it seemed more like an action movie with zombies. Who cares, it rocked, and speaking of horror directors daughters...Asia Argento who was in Land of the Dead...HELLO!
  23. Gotta love Fulci's Zombie. Come on, there's a shark vs. zombie fight scene. I bought these shirts from Rotten Cotton: http://rottencotton.com/shirts/horror/311_ultimatezombie.gif http://rottencotton.com/shirts/horror/302_braindead.jpg
  24. 45 Grave was a horror punk band that did the song "Party Time" from RotLD. http://agonyshorthand.blogspot.com/45autops.jpg I'm a sucker for stupid shit. I like your idea too. I always thought I could make the funniest zombie movie ever...then I saw Braindead/Dead Alive. http://www.obscurehorror.com/deadalive2.jpg One of the best comedies ever! I miss this Peter Jackson.
  25. Romero's movies rule and I have several of the shirts, but my favorite zombie movie has gotta be Return of the Living Dead. "Send more paramedics." and 45 Grave ruled. PARTY TIME!
