  1. I'm a fan. The box set looks awesome, definitely gotta get that.
  2. Loved it too. Cronenberg had me at Videodrome.
  3. I thought the last few minutes of Blair Witch Project were cool. That last shot was good, but too bad the movie was boring for the most part. I think a young kid who believes it's real would get a lot more enjoyment out of it though...at least my cousin did.
  4. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5c/DS_Making_Movies.jpg I guess you could choose any of their covers, but I'll only pick on one.
  5. QUOTE (My_Shrimp_Cot @ Sep 23 2007, 06:58 AM) "Slither" was my most recent favorite and it was very americana. Yeah, I loved that movie even if it was a huge rip off of Night of the Creeps. I watched that and Feast back to back. That was a good night for cheesy horror.
  6. Ugh, that Blind Faith cover makes me feel wrong every time I see it. Anyway, something far more disturbing...the Thriller remaster with that god awful picture of MJ cuddling with a tiger. http://i17.ebayimg.com/03/c/01/a2/6f/17_7.JPG heehee
  7. The cavemen commercials are on so much they're not even funny anymore. Maybe if they had done this show three years ago I'd watch it.
  8. QUOTE (ILSnwdog @ Sep 20 2007, 04:18 PM) Deftones anyone? I used to be a fan. The first album is okay, Around the Fur is good, White Pony is amazing...then the last two came out. Not really feeling them anymore.
  9. I like old episodes of Family Guy, but even some of that stuff blatantly ripped off The Simpsons. I would say "did they think people wouldn't notice?" but I never really did until now.
  10. I've said this on here before and no one agreed with me, but I stand by my opinion that Contact is one of the worst movies ever, solely for the ending. Rest in Pieces....ugh, it has an awesome 80s cheesy horror cover, but what you get is a bad foreign soap opera where like one person gets stabbed off camera. House of the Dead - Uwe Boll really outdid himself with this shittastic piece of shit. Hey guys, I loved the f***ing bullet time effects every two seconds, that wasn't annoying at all. The Grudge - The most boring movie I've ever tried to watch. I just turned it off.
  11. This movie will rule even if it sucks.....my childhood deems this true. It'll probably be terrible. Watch Spielberg find some kind of way to throw a robot in there.
  12. QUOTE (bucky01403 @ Sep 11 2007, 05:12 PM) QUOTE (Godeater2112 @ Sep 11 2007, 03:36 PM) I might watch it tonight but I have a "working" version of the movie so apparently bits may be different than the final theatre version - including the ending! Tell me how it is. The workprint version has one of the most badass scenes ever in a Halloween movie. Myers slits a throat while walking by briskly. Shit was awesome! I can't believe they cut it out, but it's gotta make the DVD.
  13. Top 10 hip hop beats of all time: 1. Pete Rock & CL Smooth - They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.) (Produced by Pete Rock) 2. Xzibit - Paparazzi (Produced by Thayod Ausar) 3. Wu-Tang Clan - Reunited (Produced by Rza) 4. Outkast - SpottieOttieDopaliscious (Produced by Outkast) 5. Snoop Dogg - Tha Shiznit (Produced by Dr. Dre) 6. Ice Cube - When Will They Shoot? (Produced by DJ Pooh) 7. Penthouse Players Clique - Trust No Bitch (Produced by DJ Quik) 8. Clipse - Grindin' (Produced by The Neptunes) 9. Outkast - Bombs Over Baghdad (Produced by Outkast) 10. Timbaland & Magoo - All Y'all (Produced by Timbaland)

  15. QUOTE (The Owl @ Sep 7 2007, 03:52 PM) wow, talk about posting something at the same time? It's not playing anywhere near me so I downloaded it. After all the good reviews it's gotten, I was expecting something a little more serious, but it's really cheesy, which I actually love.
  16. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b4/Hatchetmposter.jpg It just came out. Total cheesy 80s slasher style. I love it.

The Fall of Troy Interpol The Human Abstract Job for a Cowboy Minus the Bear Minus the Bear and Fall of Troy! That's a pretty great list. Manipulator will probably be in my top 5 of the year. Sledgehammer FTW. I still need to get Manipulator and the Ghostship demos I just got Doppelganger though, and it KILLS! Good god FCPRemix is awesome. I also just acquired Highly Refined Pirates by Minus (I only had Planet of Ice until now), and it's also owning me at the moment. Nice! Doppelganger is probably my favorite of their three albums. Same thing with the Minus album. Mouths Like Sidewinder Missles and Get Me Naked 2: Electric Boogaloo are the jams.
  18. QUOTE (gotbass1228 @ Sep 5 2007, 05:38 PM) Other! Don't be stupid. Chuck Norris! I'd agree, but I saw a new Total Gym commercial and he's shaved his beard off. That was the source of his powers.

  21. I saw it earlier today. I liked it, but I didn't love it. I kinda get the feeling that Zombie doesn't get why the original Halloween is scary...there's a lot of excessive shit in his version that's just not necessary. The movie is a lot more brutal, but the creepiness factor just isn't there. There's some tense scenes near the end that I thought were cool though. 2.5/5 I was expecting to like it more. Also, I wanted to slap the people who brought their kids to this movie. There were a lot.
  22. Red Dwarf Futurama Cowboy Bebop The Simpsons The X-Files
  23. Seinfeld, easily. That 70s Show was good at first, but I lost interest after a while. It became the same jokes over and over...ho ho Red's gonna put his foot in Eric's ass again. Seinfeld has so many memorable moments for me.
