  1. On the topic of really good entertainment that Rush fans should appreciate.... The show Farscape from SciFi network. It came out in 99 and ended its fourth season (prematurely) in 03. The SciFi network did not want to renegotiate for another season, and sort of left the story hanging...Really pissing off the show's ever growing fanbase. So they came out with a 2 disc mini-series in 04, which I haven't watched yet, but it doesn't finish the original characters' stories, it has it's own seperate story. If anyone has seen a random episode out of order, it may not make sense because there is a lot of background info and characterizations of a lot of the cast in the first season. I definitely recommend watching this show from beginning to end. I recently purchased the complete 4 season set from ebay for a very reasonable price, but I'm sure interested consumers can find it elsewhere to rent or view episodes on the shows website. It's actually quite an educational show, not that I'm familiar with astrophysics, but there is a lot of scientific mumbo-jumbo that, if you can follow it, is really interesting. Of course it's typical that a television network would not want to support a show that doesn't insult your intelligence, and opens your mind to infinite possibilities. Any and all science fiction shows before and since I've seen Farscape, are shadowed in it's wonderment. Of course, there are classics that can't be touched purely because of originality when they came out, like the original Star Trek and Stargate, and maybe a couple others. Farscape is a must-see!! Watch it if you get a chance.
  2. 28 yo f, kinda wish I was old enough to have seen Rush in their prime, I missed out on all the great shows and inspiration... Oh well, at least I have my cd's and dvd's... And...they are hopefully coming back with an album (and touring??) So I'll get ready for that.
