  1. QUOTE (kevind2112 @ Aug 24 2012, 10:33 AM) QUOTE (Merely Space @ Aug 24 2012, 01:11 PM)Geddy plays rhythm guitar during the outro of Xanadu, and A Passage to Bangkok. Correct. He plays it from the guitar solo on through the end of the tune. This. Listen during the guitar solo, you can hear Ged strumming the 6 string and playing bass pedals with his feet.
  2. The word "Masterpiece" is a bit strong IMO. Great album. I love it.

I look forward to Wish them Well and The garden every time I listen to CA.
  6. The album kicks major ass. Can you think of any other band that has been around this long and can release an album that rocks like this one? Amazing.

    Headlong Flight

I wish they would have extended that jam session. I wouldn't mind if the let Alex solo for two-three minutes.
  8. QUOTE (go2wrk@95974 @ Jul 21 2012, 06:20 PM) QUOTE (Tarkus406 @ Jul 21 2012, 04:35 PM) QUOTE (snowdogged @ Jul 21 2012, 12:44 AM) Here is just one of the sad stories from this horrible incident. This young woman survived a shooting in a Toronto mall just weeks earlier. Same type of thing. A guy went into the mall with a gun and just started to open fire. She escaped it but was killed in the shooting in the theater. So sad! My condolences to all the friends and family of the victims. http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/artic...7d0f71b2fee5.91 That's terrible! That woman must have been wondering moments before death "Why does this keep happening?! Why is the world like this?!" The world is like this because we're a fallen race, unfortunately. From genesis in the Holy Bible, to the present moment... That fact was proven by the latest killing spree in Colorado. This has nothing to do with genesis or the Bible...this has everything to do with crazy. It's as simple as that. A certain percentage of the population is mentally disturbed and events like this are going to happen. This individual was crazy. As a society, we have a tendency to blame everyone else but the actual person who committed the crime. Events like this have been happening for a long, long time. The difference between then and now is that back then, news travelled very slowly and stories like this were localized. Today, we have instant news feeds and a media just dying to tell us about the latest horrific tragedy. This is nothing new....unfortunately. My thoughts are with those affected by this tragedy. Let us not place blame or try to rationalize this. Let us grieve with those involved and their families.
  9. "I have my friends, my family. I have myself....I still have me". Excellent lyrics from Elizabeth Frasier and words to live by. Years from now you will look back and realize that this is the best thing to happen in your life. Enjoy time with your boy.
  10. So sad. Could have been prevented. Apparently the shooters mother knew of the shooters mental instability. My thoughts are with the victims and their families today. I can't even imagine what they must be going through. Everyone take a deep breath, be thankful for today and tell the people you love how you feel about them. You may never get another chance.
  11. "I like Christian Rock. It's very positive. Not like those real musicians who think they're so cool and hip!"
  12. Puddy: You got a question, you ask the 8 ball. Elaine: You're gonna wear this all the time? Puddy: All signs point to YES!
  13. I woke up in the Hudson River....IN A SACK!
  14. ...and if you are undead, I'll find out about that too.
  15. That reminds me I need to find my copy of "Where the Wild Things Are". That is one hell of a CD.
  16. QUOTE (pedro2112 @ Jun 17 2012, 10:20 AM) QUOTE (invisible airwave @ Jun 17 2012, 11:58 AM) It's actually his lowest opening weekend for a comedy since Happy Gilmore. The people have spoken...grow the f up Sandler! He really needs to look more carefully at the scripts he is offered. He was very good in Spanglish and was halfway decent in Grownups. When he acts like a normal human being and not some cartoonish carictature of himself, he does much better. I agree about Spanglish. Haven't seen Grownups. Fifty First Dates was pretty good as well. Seems like he is doing things just to stay current.
  17. Very interesting. I sense something that I haven't felt since......
