  1. How has it been four years already? Miss you always Professor.
  2. I would absolutely go. I've only seen them twice, and I'm young and missed them when they were in their prime. Any opportunity, I will take it and be grateful.
  3. I don't think Out of The Cradle is a bad song..I think Vapor Trails gets a lot of undeserved hate honestly. It's their most emotionally raw album.
  4. Wow, makes me wish I had waited at Boston. Wonder if I could have gotten my T-shirts or a few of my CD's signed.
  5. Boston was fun! Didn't get to ask him a question or get book signed like I was hoping, but oh well. Mentioned after the book stuff, there's a possibility that he and Alex may write some more music together but no promises. He also said Alex is dealing with his own stuff medically? Didn't like the sound of that.
  6. I really wish I knew I could submit a question. Too late now, looks like it has to be submitted by 5pm the night before, and the Boston show is tomorrow. Is there a guarantee that all questions will even be answered?
  7. I hate when musicians I like are bad people. It just upsets me in ways I can't explain.
  8. A lot of people don't, I did not until relatively recently. This in my humble opinion is a testament to the fact that Clapton's version is more memorable.
  9. I feel I may be in the minority here, but Clapton for me 100%. More upbeat and I just like the vibe of it better.
  10. Just thought this would be an interesting one! What do you think?
  11. Wow, this is huge news! So excited! Can't wait to see what music they'll come out with now.
  12. I got two tickets for Boston, just about an hour drive for me. Anyone else going to the Boston event? Also, it looks like the book is included with the ticket and is provided at the venue when you get there, does anyone know for sure if this is true?
  13. Missing Neil today. I hope he's at peace wherever he is...
  14. This one made me sad. I saw him live when I was little and don't remember much of it, but I always enjoyed his music.
  15. I agree. My personality is a lot like Neil's. I'm extremely introverted and don't like a lot of attention. I frequently find myself wondering why he chose the lifestyle he did in the first place. It makes me think of one thing Neil has said, "what more can you do but inspire people?" Well, he wanted to inspire so I have to believe that's why he did everything he's done and put so much love and care into his craft. Putting his own discomfort with the Limelight aside was the most selfless thing he could have ever done....indeed, there is no way to properly thank him for it. But, I don't think he was looking for thanks or acknowledgement either because that's just the kind of person he was. 3 1/2 going on four years gone and somehow it still just sucks. He didn't get what he deserved; while he did live a life most merely dream about, the things that mattered to him most like spending time with his family were ripped away from him in a very cruel fashion. It just can't be understood.
  16. I'll do it, although it'll let me make a new poll in the Feedback forum but not the Totem Polls subforum for some reason. If there's a way around that I'd like to post it under Totem Polls.
  17. Afterimage alone puts GUP in top three for me IMO. Just my two cents
  18. I still don't see them... Is it possibile to make a new poll (this is 2004)? My favourite albums change every some months... I think a new poll would be a good idea.
  19. I'm gonna wait to buy it from a book store or the publisher. I really, really, REALLY hope he does a book tour. I don't care if I have to wait hours in a line... it would be worth it to have even a few seconds to actually meet him in person.
  20. Happy birthday, hope it's a great one!
  21. As I recall at my show in 2012, the house was pretty much full. That was at the Verizon Wireless Arena, and their capacity is about 10,000-12,000.
