Montrose - Montrose 1973 (10/10) ⭐️ Superb ahead of its time album, which still sounds great even now 👍😎

Europe - Out of this World, 1988 (10/10)⭐️ My Fav Europe album …. Kee Marcello on 🎸came into the fold & impressed with some fantastic riffs & solos ! 😎

Over the past couple of days … Magnum - Magnum II , 1979 (9/10)

Muse - Will of the People, 2022 (9/10) 🤔… Not a popular opinion I know, but I prefer this album over at least 2 others in their discography

For me ‘ pinnacle peak ‘ is These 7 albums ( I can’t reduce down to just 5 ! ) ⭐️ Farewell to Kings⭐️ ⭐️ Hemispheres⭐️ ⭐️ Permanent Waves ⭐️ ⭐️ Moving Pictures ⭐️ ⭐️ Signals⭐️ ⭐️ Grace Under Pressure⭐️ ⭐️ Power Windows ⭐️ I also agree with Nova & Goose that HYF for me was massively disappointing as was Presto 😕 Roll the Bones was a little better, but it was Counterparts which finally really excited me again !

I remember the band saying they felt rushed by the record company and weren’t 100% happy with the production. Still great songs & great playing though 😎 * On a Storyteller’s Night (10/10) , ‘85 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Drummer of Queen, Roger Taylor produced their following album ………. which I’ll be revisiting again tomorrow)

Very sad news ideed ! 😕 I saw Magnum twice live : in ‘85 & ‘88 and they were excellent both times ⭐️ Tony was underated as both a 🎸player & a song writer

This thread has inspired me to listen to Ace’s solos albums ! 👍🙂 🤔 To be fair to Ace I like his vocals as well as his guitar playing ! He might not be of the same techical level as say Luke when it comes to very top, top level 🎸 players who can also sing .. but he’s plenty good enough for me ! ⭐️ Plus I’ve just down loaded and played loadsa times his brand, brand new Jan 2024 Single ’ 10,000 Volts ‘ very cool ! 😎
