  1. Magnum - The Chase the Dragon ‘82 (10/10) ⭐️ Magnum - The Eleventh Hour ‘83 (9/10)
  2. King’s X - Three sides of One, 2022 (9/10) … 🤔 I seem to enjoy this, their most recent album, more than quite a few other fans of the band
  3. Van Roth ‘84 (10/10) ⭐️ my 2nd Fav Van Roth album ( only the debut tops it )
  4. Over the last few days… Toto - Isolation ‘84 (10/10) ⭐️ Still my Fav Toto album 😎
  5. Thin Lizzy - Thunder & Lightning ‘83 (10/10) ⭐️ great - as it turned out - Final Lizzy album ( 🤔 mostly thanks to John Sykes & Darren Wharton injecting some youthfully enthusiasm & ‘ positive aggression ‘ )
  6. John Norum ( feat.Glenn Hughes ) - Face The Truth 1992 (10/10) ⭐️ great album 👍😎
  7. Muse live - - rule !! 💥 I’ve seen them 4 times, 1st time OOS tour in 2001. Most recent last summer 2023 at MK Bowl (with Royal Blood and The Warning .. great Line-up… it’s rare to have 3 ace bands inc 2 ‘ support ‘ acts on the bill ) I thought they were excellent each & every time 👍⭐️😎
  8. Steve Perry - Street Talk ‘84 (8/10) 🤔 as a guitar player ( As a kid, I used to record off my old cassette deck/radio/alarm clock set up literally Just the guitar solos from records played on the radio for about 3 years before I finally got around to buying my first 🎸 ! 🙃🤣) … I don’t normally place as much emphasis on the vocalist as I guess a lot of (especially non hard rock/metal) music listeners do - for me good vocals are just the cherry on top of the icing of the cake of a great song which showcases excellent musicianship … but that said I have to say Steve is Easily in my Top 3 singers of all time
  9. The Warning - Error, 2022 (8/10) - good album… 🤔 but I prefer them live to on record so to speak…. which is a compliment ! 😎
