  1. I've been hearing kudos for an older flick called "Black Christmas." I'd like to see it; it's supposed to be one of the scariest Horror movies ever... and without much blood. That's the way it is for me. You can have your Freddie and Jason hack-and-slay films; suspense and building fear is much much scarier to me. Two films that I thought were stupid; stay away: Deadly Friend (a Wes Craven flick with Kristy Swanson) Blair Witch Project (Omigod! Leaves and sticks really scare me!)
  2. This must be a UK thing; I've never heard of this show or its use of Rush music. Speaking of British TV... do you fellows know about a comedy show that ran for a few seasons called "The Royle Family"? When I was visiting my in-laws in Scotland, they showed me some episodes on DVD. Funny show!
  3. Moving Pictures Permanent Waves Counterparts The Yes Album Simon and Garfunkel's Greatest Hits
  4. Aw, heck. He's gonna get the majority of votes as it is, but I'll vote for Cosmo. "Now can't you two see... that you're in love with each other? You want to mess with somebody, you mess with me!" "No... look away, I'm hideous."
  5. Tough choice, so I picked Peterman. (Today anyway!) "Why, that would be grounds for dismissal." "Momma, it's me... Chicopo." "...Plus I gave him a list of places he could score near the hotel."
  6. QUOTE (Arndrake @ Feb 10 2006, 05:49 PM) "There's nothing more boring than people who love you." Talk Radio Here's mine: "Oh no, Dad, it's completely baked."
  7. Thanks for the tip. I found it. I went. I chatted. I left.
  8. Okay... how the heck do I get into this "chat room"? I don't see a link anywhere.
  9. QUOTE (sez GeddyRulz here ) Glad someone's paying attention.
  10. Permanent Waves for me. Similar in sound to MP, but not as overplayed. Lately I've been giving Counterparts a lot of spin.

  12. My faves: STAR WARS (1977) THE GRADUATE THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION Guilty pleasures: HERO AT LARGE WIZARDS (1977, animated) THE JERICHO MILE DREAMS DON'T DIE (1982 TV movie) THE WARRIORS Comedy greats: THIS IS SPINAL TAP AIRPLANE RUNNING SCARED OLD SCHOOL PLANES, TRAINS, AND AUTOMOBILES
  13. 19/20. I made a dumb mistake, or I would've scored perfectly. ...And while you're at funtrivia.com, be sure to take MY Rush quizzes. They're tough, too!
  14. I like this album a lot. Many great songs to choose from: Ceiling Unlimited, Secret Touch, Earthshine... I'll pick "Earthshine" today.
  15. I've got twelve disciples and a Buddha smile; Garden of Allah, Viking Valhalla, a miracle once in awhile. I got a pantheon of animals in a Pagan soul; Vishnu and Gaia, Aztec and Maya, dance around my TOTEM pole. I believe in what I see, I believe in what I hear, I believe that what I'm feeling changes how the world appears.
  16. ahh yes to yes to ahh to yes... This is an awesome album; it's getting a lot of play from me right now.
  17. This is probably my least favorite Rush album as a whole, but I think "Dreamline" is awesome!
  18. Some great songwriting on this album; it's tough to pick. "Chain Lightning" or "Available Light" (Geddy's best vocal performance, IMO)? I'll pick "Chain Lightning" today, because I love the message.
  19. I really like this album, so there's a few tracks in the running for my favorite. I'll pick "Prime Mover" today.
  20. I used to dislike "Grand Designs" because I thought the lyrics were a bit dopey. Now I realize their brilliance and I'm making up for lost time - it's my current favorite on the album. But this album is terrific as a whole, is it not??
  21. A lot of mediocre songs on this album, IMO; this was the last album I replaced on CD. Tough choice, but I'll go with "Body Electric" today.
  22. I'm making up for lost time. I used to seriously dislike "Digital Man" because I thought the lyrics were dumb. After reading Carol Selby Price's "Mystic Rhythms," I found new respect for the lyrics. Now it's my favorite track. I love Geddy's bass on this one. The first song I gravitated toward after hearing the album, though, was "The Weapon."
  23. Every song is a winner! I chose "Camera Eye" today; I may choose something different next month.
  24. Probably my favorite Rush album; every song is awesome! I went with "Natural Science" - it's got everything that makes Rush Rush, IMO.
