  1. Currently listening to a random mix of their songs I put together. Song at this moment is Vapor Trail.
  2. In my opinion yes. But I'm more than a little biased. I couldn't quite believe it when I first discovered that three guys could produce *that* sound.
  3. :goodone: also welcome to the forum NetBoy2112 Thank you!!!
  4. As a 24 year-old-fan from the UK I did not, alas, get the opportunity to see them. But I'm forever thankful for their recorded concerts.
  5. Power Windows, for the sheer nostalgia. It's the first album I ever bought.
  6. Ghost Rider. Just because it's Neil's song.
  7. The opening to The Anarchist is just mindblowing to me. Perfect on every level. It was such a wonderful opener for the R40 tour.
  8. Superconductor was the one that stuck in my head initially, so I went with that. Still,The Pass has moved me to tears on occasion, which is saying something.
  9. Nothing gets me into a song like good lyrics. Roll the Bones, while not my favourite Rush album, certainly got off to 10/10 start with Dreamline in my opinion.
  10. Has to be Time Stand Still. The lyrics are just unforgettable.
  11. I'm one of those Counterparts adorers. Leave That Thing Alone is actually my favourite Rush instrumental, for no other reason than Geddy's bass and because I like it. I acknowledge that YYZ and La Villa are technically better. Cold Fire though...God I love it.
  12. Every time I hear the opening track I am taken back to the first time I heard it and the feelings I experienced. It's just an incredible song on every level. So 2112, no question.
  13. Fly By Night was one of the earliest Rush songs I discovered...so it has to be the title track.
  14. As much as I love The Trees...it just has to be La Villa.
  15. This was a very important album...it was the first album I EVER bought! So all the songs are dear to me, but it has to be Mystic Rhythms. Middletown Dreams a close second though.
  16. I went with Distant Early Warning, but Afterimage was not far behind. Between the Wheels was another close contender.
  17. As an autistic person I have felt like a social outcast for much of my life. Subdivisions could be my favourite Rush song for that reason alone. I love those lyrics to the end of the earth and back.
  18. For the meaning of the lyrics, Limelight. But for the sheer headbanging fun...Red Barchetta. Still, The Camera Eye grows on me with each subsequent listen...
  19. Jacob's Ladder because I cannot get enough of that guitar solo.
  20. Objectively it would probably be Driven, but when I first listened to the album Virtuality was the one that stuck in my head and left an impression. It's a guilty pleasure song for me. Sure, people often mock it for the lyrics, but I love it nonetheless.
  21. Although the obvious choice, Working Man is by far the standout on the album imo.
  22. Currently it's La Villa Strangiato. One of those tracks that is a joy every time :D
