  1. For me personally Part I edges it ....... but only just.
  2. You beat me to it blueschica! I was just about to pass this code on (its morning here so i'm only awake lol!) Good luck to all you guys looking for tickets. I look forward to hearing about the evening in advance of the UK dates.
  3. Great job Lurkst! Have you heard what way they are going to work with the book? (I believe the book is part of the ticket price.) Do ya think we'll get it at the gig or will we get a book voucher or something like that? It would be great if there was a supply at the gig all nicely autographed!!! Probably wishful thinking on my part!
  4. Yeah ..... I could see an American Express presale link (no good to me as I ain't got an American Express card lol!) But the venue link worked fine.
  5. It was a venue presale - I had signed up to the venue newspaper and got a presale link emailed to me one hour before it was due to open.
  6. I hope to get a listen tomorrow. Expecting great things!
  7. I got my Wolverhampton ticket today on presale! All good to go!
  8. Because I had the 'proper' badge, I was the top agent in our little gang lol! Simpler times!
  9. Christmas 1965 (or thereabouts!) I got this from Santa! The Man From Uncle was huge at the time and I thought I was super cool as an Uncle agent! This would have been my first memories of David McCallum. He has had a long and wonderfully varied career both in cinema and on TV. My missus is a big fan of NCIS and loved his "Ducky" character. RIP David.
  10. Indeed yes. My options are ferry or plane. I fly to Birmingham and then a 20min train trip to Wolverhampton.
  11. I have made a slight change of plan. I'm now aiming for the date in Wolverhampton on 10th Dec. We'll fly over on 9th and go visit the grandkids in Malvern and then travel to Wolverhampton on 10th. Flights and hotels are booked so all I need to do now is secure a ticket!
  12. I am thinking about going to the Glasgow event. I see it mentions a presale next Thursday.... not sure what the criteria is for that.
  13. Geddy's changed a bit since then.
  14. Come on now Micky old boy, just let it go. Time for your meds and your afternoon nap.
  15. It was a scorcher here yesterday (a rare occurance in N. Ireland!) so I got the sun lounger out, several cold beers and a couple of classic live albums from the '70s -
  16. Slovenia 4 N. Ireland 2 Another tournament fizzles into the night.
  17. Over the past few days I have listened to this magnificent anniversary edition of Broadsword and the Beast. A few thoughts spring to mind - - I had forgotton just how good this album was ..... puts the recent so called Tull releases (The Zealot Gene and Rokflot) firmly into perspective as the inferior offerings they are. - Coming not so far after the Signals anniversary release, it really puts it it to shame. For as little as we got on the Signals release, here we have a smorgasbord of bonus material ... so so good. - Listening to the live stuff... Martin Barre comes across amazingly well .... totally integral to the whole Tull sound. Ian, if you are reading this (which of course you won't be) you should hold your head in shame at trying to pass your current load of sidekicks off as Jethro Tull. Not even close Ian. - Finally, a lavish book with loads of pics and articles etc. (I haven't even had time to go through it yet.) An all round jolly good release.
