  1. After getting into them during the 2112 and AtWAS era, I remember PeWs and Moving Pictures were really a new direction. Signals hit and it was really like wtf.

  8. QUOTE (MCM @ Nov 9 2011, 08:17 PM) QUOTE (ReGorLaTroy @ Nov 9 2011, 05:59 PM) Greetings, check your artists on your Itunes, the song, when the TM CD is ripped to Itunes comes up under the artist, "Rush with Love For Sale". Yup, noticed this when I ripped it last night, listening to it at work today and thought "where's the drum solo" forgot it came up differently, kind of sucks cause now you have to make it a playlist to get it to be in the right place. No artwork for me either. Have to add it which I hate!!! Just go into Get Info and change the artist to Rush and it should drop into proper order (be certain the album names match).

QUOTE (ReGorLaTroy @ Nov 9 2011, 06:55 PM) QUOTE (PolarizeMe @ Nov 9 2011, 06:51 PM) QUOTE (Sir Lerxst @ Nov 9 2011, 06:45 PM)QUOTE (PolarizeMe @ Nov 9 2011, 11:37 PM) QUOTE (ReGorLaTroy @ Nov 9 2011, 05:59 PM)Greetings, check your artists on your Itunes, the song, when the TM CD is ripped to Itunes comes up under the artist, "Rush with Love For Sale". iTunes is f***ing stupid...Love For Sale's the name of the jazz piece Neil plays not an artist (at least that I know of). The CD reads "Moto Perpetuo (featuring Love For Sale)" Not iTunes (apple's) fault, it just reads the data that is stored on the CD. In my car, it is shown as "Rush with Love For Sale - Moto Perpetuo (Featuring Love For Sale)" Well that's strange to say the least... Anyone who imported the CD onto iTunes, does anyone have a problem getting the artwork cover? Because for some reason I can't get it. Yeah, the same thing happened to me, so I just copied a picture of it online and added it manually to each song under info in Itunes. Same here, I copied an online version since I couldn't get it to download. I even tried modifying the disc title to match iTunes and that still didn't do it. You don't have to add it manually to each track though, just go to album view and then Get Info and you can paste it in there which saves time and steps.

  12. It has been updated to include some pictures from the 2010 Time Machine Tour. IMO, not as nicely done as with the 2007 / 2008 legs of the S&A Tour. I picked it up since I collect them.
  13. My 10 year old is attending Milwaukee with me tonight and both Chicago shows. He also went to Milwaukee Live S&A with me in 2008. My older son who is 13 now went to R30 Milwaukee and Milwaukee Live S&A with me. We also saw the Scorpions last night at Summerfest.
  14. QUOTE (PhoenixMike @ Jun 28 2010, 09:48 PM) QUOTE (EPR66 @ Jun 28 2010, 09:42 PM)QUOTE (PhoenixMike @ Jun 28 2010, 09:33 PM) Oh.. I should tell this little story... I was big into collecting records back in the 70's and my brother and I went to a local record show in Roseville, Michigan. It was in January of 1975 and it was being held at a local school. The small auditorium was set up for a band to play, so we sat down along with about 30 other people to watch the band. I didn't know it at the time, but it was Rush! I didn't know who they were then, but after they started getting more airplay in the Detroit area, I realized who they were! I remember thinking how strange their music sounded, compared to the other bands at the time. I wish I had a camera for that! We both remember the band strolling around the vendor area, looking at records. Mike According to the Power Windows site this may have been the following date: http://www.2112.net/powerwindows/main/Tours.htm January 31, 1975 Roseville, Michigan Yep.. that was the show. I'm still amazed a band like that would do such a small show, but I guess in most places they were still unknowns at that time. Mike When I began attending their live shows in 1980 they were already doing 4 night stands in Chicago. It is hard to believe they were playing small clubs and high schools in the mid-70s.

  16. Nice!!! Many thanks! My first show was in '79 so this era is very special to me.
  17. I've had good luck with these Etymotics I've been using since the Vapor Trails Tour: http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er20.aspx
  18. Thanks for the post, great stuff. I'm one of the old timers you referenced who caught a few of the Moving Pictures shows in Chicago (two of the four night stand). From what I recall, I believe Max Webster was the opener.
