After getting into them during the 2112 and AtWAS era, I remember PeWs and Moving Pictures were really a new direction. Signals hit and it was really like wtf.

Yep, it was Permanent Waves. They played a four night stand in Chicago. I was at one of the shows.

It has been updated to include some pictures from the 2010 Time Machine Tour. IMO, not as nicely done as with the 2007 / 2008 legs of the S&A Tour. I picked it up since I collect them.

My 10 year old is attending Milwaukee with me tonight and both Chicago shows. He also went to Milwaukee Live S&A with me in 2008. My older son who is 13 now went to R30 Milwaukee and Milwaukee Live S&A with me. We also saw the Scorpions last night at Summerfest.

I'm still amazed a band like that would do such a small show, but I guess in most places they were still unknowns at that time. Mike When I began attending their live shows in 1980 they were already doing 4 night stands in Chicago. It is hard to believe they were playing small clubs and high schools in the mid-70s.

Thanks for the post, great stuff. I'm one of the old timers you referenced who caught a few of the Moving Pictures shows in Chicago (two of the four night stand). From what I recall, I believe Max Webster was the opener.
