  1. QUOTE (Necromancer @ Jan 20 2006, 05:44 PM) Yeah, Lex dodged a bullet... well not quite, but he made it out alive anyway, but that doesn't mean it still won't be him that dies. Here's my full basis for this speculation. Silver age comic Lex blamed Superboy for the loss of his hair when in an attempt to save Lex from a burning laboratory he used his superbreath to extinquish the flames. In doing so, chemical fumes made Lex's hair fall out and THAT made him hate superboy and later superman. Now in more recent comic action, Lex was brought back from the dead (as all good comic characters experience at least once) and resumed his evil ways and is now the President of the United States of DC comics. Anyway, Smallville has continually combined different stages of Superman mythos and continuity while also creating it's own legend. I think they have to explain Lex going totally over the deep end into super evil genius status and that will be his death as the result of something Clark does. When he "returns" he will be fueled by rage and hatred for Clark. That's my story and i'm sticking to it. Never read the comics, so that is interesting. I hope your wrong and Lana dies. lol Maybe, Lex will blame Clark for her death and that turns Lex evil
  2. QUOTE (Batman @ Jan 8 2006, 10:19 AM) this is from the WB Site about this weeks show Fanatic Thursday, Jan 12 8/7c Jonathan (John Schneider) receives threats on his life from a mysterious source who urges him to drop out of the senate race. Later, Clark (Tom Welling) finds his dad bloody and beaten and becomes determined to find his attacker. He later discovers that a group of Lex's followers are determined to do anything to see that Lex wins the election. Lois' (Erica Durance) life is threatened when she's captured and asked to assassinate Jonathan during his speech. Lionel (John Glover) offers to give Martha (Annette O'Toole) money to help Jonathan's campaign. Lana (Kristin Kreuk) is convinced that the answers she is looking for lie in researching the first meteor shower. WB Smallville Thanks Batman I would just hate to see John Schneider leave he show. Guess we will find out Thurday.
  3. New Episode ths week. Looks like we find out who is going to be cut from the show. I really hope it's Lana who dies.
  4. I like Seinfeild, but the reruns of the 70's show really cracks me up
  5. QUOTE (Drumnut @ Dec 22 2005, 08:04 PM) Smallville is on now, but it's a re-run I just don't get why this season -- so far -- seems to not have any NEW stories each week
  6. QUOTE (Necromancer @ Dec 20 2005, 06:20 PM) QUOTE (freewill71 @ Dec 18 2005, 03:19 PM) QUOTE (Batman @ Dec 9 2005, 07:31 AM) Hey what did everyone think of Lexmas last night? I thought it was cool to see Lex finally make the choice we always knew he would. The drunk Santa was a nice touch. I think by now we all know Chloe is going to die this season so it was nice to see a what if like this. I am getting the feeling Lex is going to have something to do with her Death and that will be the final straw between him and Clark. Wouldn't it be nice if Lex was a good guy Either Cloe or Lana dying is going to break Clark and Lex I missed last week and it didn't tape. Anything happen? No, it was a two hour compilation of last season's finale and the opening episode of this season. The scenes for this week though look very cool. It looks like Lana goes off the deep end and shaves her head and gives herself to Lex. Now, i'm not sure if everything they showed is for just this week's episode or for the remainder of the season, but it looks like it's going to really get good. Don't miss it. Thanks for letting me know about last week. Not going to miss it tonight

  8. Great picture there Slaine -- that was one of the best series -- my top favorie of all time -- shame it had to end I grew up on Buck Rodgers -- Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek -- with all the technicial stuff they do now -- they just don't seem to get the Chemistry those shows had -- Babylon 5 has been the only one IMO QUOTE Anyone remember The Man from Atlantis's with Patrick Duffy? I vaguely remember that one -- my Mom use to watch it -- think she had a crush on Duffy lol
  9. QUOTE (kazzman @ Dec 1 2005, 09:58 PM) From the looks of the trailer, this one just might be better. I agree Kazz -- really liked the humor of the first one
  10. QUOTE (Necromancer @ Nov 20 2005, 03:44 PM) Nah. The movie takes place several years after the second Christopher Reeve movie. We're supposed to suspend belief on why no one's really aged I guess. LOL. But as far as the movie and Smallville, they are two entirely different mythos. Smallville is a combination of every age of comics AND a new spin entirely. That's why I love it. It definitely pays its respects to the legacy of Superman, but it has it's entirely OWN feel and direction. You never know which way it's going to go. I was floored in the beginning that Lois was introduced to Clark during high school, but now I kinda like it. In his younger days it was Lana. During college it was Lori Lemaris, a mermaid, and as an adult LOIS. I don't think anything you see in the movie has any bearing on the show. Someday i'm sure there will be a Smallville MOVIE where he finally becomes SUPERMAN. That will be awesome. I don't even remember the Superman movies I would like to see Tom W in a pair of tights
  11. QUOTE (Necromancer @ Nov 18 2005, 08:20 AM) Okay, so Lois got bit by the reporter bug last night as she jumped on the bandwagon to uncover Lex's dark secrets. Still think that Chloe is the person close to Clark that will die. It will make Clark closer to Lois. I thought the show last night was superb. I kinda wish they kept Brainiac as a "good guy". I was a bit dissapointed in that. Marster's has been known to play bad to good characters before, so maybe he'll be back. I think this show just keeps getting better and better. If the movie they sneak peaked comes even close, it will be a huge success. Oh that makes sense. That would bring Clark closer to Lois if Cloe dies. I just hope that movie isn't going to be the end of this series. Made me think, how can they do a movie at this point. Wouldn't it give away some of what they are doing in the series?
  12. QUOTE WOMEN'S REVENGE "Cash, check or charge?" I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her wallet I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse. "So, do you always carry your TV remote?" I asked. "No," she replied, " but my husband refused to come shopping with me, and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally."
  13. QUOTE (Cygnus @ Nov 8 2005, 01:24 PM) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v703/RushForum/00026317.jpg That shirt reminds me more of what some men are capable of.
  14. QUOTE (Riv @ Nov 7 2005, 08:03 PM) QUOTE (freewill71 @ Nov 8 2005, 03:55 AM) QUOTE But both of them look good enough to do their own remake of the Dukes of Hazzard methinks. You never know -- it maybe in the works I missed the one episode -- my friend told me someone has to die now when Clark got his powers back or something -- so whose it goning to be -- Lana or his Father? I vote Lana Lana should die. that's what she gets for not putting out. She is just to whinny -- love the direction and banter with Lois they got going

  16. I do not watch much TV -- this I try never to miss Smallville This is very entertaining show -- well written -- love the music they put to it -- always a nice arrangement of music Loved the Duke of Hazzard spin they did this past week -- John looks so much younger than Tom W -- the car was a nice touch
