Absolutely beautiful.

I find myself having strange feelings of " ok I just heard that Neil is sick, now I'm ready to tune into his progress and wish him well" But then catching myself and realizing that this is over. Us mere mortals, not having known of this, are already at the end. It's a really strange way to have to process the sickness and death of someone you admire. A mourning in reverse if you will.

Listening to Between The Wheels. The entire G/P Album just moves me as it really drives. Between , though , really just gets me going. Even in hard times. Also, the Cottontail performance for The Buddy Rich Tribute is unreal. That performance with that kit is phenomenal. The Greatest!!

I get and respect how he lived privately and didn't understand adoration but man, reading all of theses tributes from every walk of life truly is beyond words. This man made a difference and I hope he was aware of the level of love and respect he actually achieved.

Thought the same thing and you would think that he would have been writing during this time. Although at some point the sickness doesn't allow it. Sad all the way around.
