  1. Treeduck (Pat), Accountant, and anyone else, who are interested in this.  If I was to put together a twenty-twenty-five Judas Priest's setlist, after some thought, I would have these songs.  For a complete to it, I included three more, extra encores.  From "Jugulator", and "Demolition", I didn't have any songs because Rob Halford wasn't the lead singer on them.  I'll do an Iron Maiden one next, too.

    Blood Red Skies

    Out In the Cold

    Nostradamus

    Invincible Shield

    Desert Plains

    Worth Fighting For

    Angel

    Redeemer of Souls

    the Serpent and the King

    Stained Class

Let Us Prey/Call For the Priest

You Don't Have to Be Old to Be Wise

    Crown of Horns

    Beyond the Realms of Death

    Firepower

    Painkiller

    Run of the Mill

    Victim of Changes

    Killing Machine/Hell Bent For Leather

    Heavy Duty/Defenders of the Faith

    Screaming For Vengeance

  2. During this 2023-24 N.H.L. Regular Season, Auston Matthews, finished with sixty-nine goals in eighty-two games as he wasn't able to score seventy.  In one Eastern Conference Playoff First Round match up, Toronto, has, and gets to play Boston.  I wanted to see Pittsburgh make, and qualify for the playoffs.  I thought it would've been them, and not Washington.

  3. If I had a playlist for long distance driving, and didn't have any Night Ranger's songs on it, but I would like four of them, which even though I like "Sister Christian", I wouldn't include that, they would be:

    Rumours In the Air

    Goodbye

    Sing Me Away

    Hearts Away

Talk about another band, and group.  John, if you haven't listened, or haven't listened to Survivor too much before, for on a playlist, I recommend two of their studio c.ds, and albums called "Vital Signs", and "When Seconds Count".  I think they are similar to Night Ranger.  Accountant, it looks, and sounds like Night Ranger's song you were thinking of, which was released in 2011, is called "Growin' Up In California", and not "Born In California".

I've never followed hockey, so I don't know the history.  Do you foresee a day in which fights are no more, or will they always happen?

To me, I haven't liked fighting, and didn't believe it was necessary in any hockey games, and leagues.  If, and when there are any types of stick incidents, and infractions no matter being accidental, or not, and a choice between those, and fights, I would pick fights because sticks can do more damage to people, and individuals.  If sticks were kept down, and no incidents, and infractions involving them, then there likely wouldn't have been any fights, or as many of them occurring, and happening.  The N.H.L. has been working in trying to limit, or not have them part of the games.

I know no-one on here will want to hear this, but Saxon blasted Judas Priest off the stage in Leeds.

If that is the case, and I'm not saying, nor will I admit to anything like that because I wouldn't think that, maybe, with Saxon, on the same bill as Judas Priest, they are, or were trying to perform at the same level as them.  It does seem like a logical reason, and explanation.

  10. If I was to put together a "Worst of" Rush song's c.d., and album list, I would only include these songs on it.  If I was to put together a "Not bad" Rush song's c.d., and album list, I would only include these songs on it.  With the later songs, I would only include these four songs as honorable mentions.

Watching the Maple Leafs', and Kraken's game.  It's Women In Hockey night in Seattle, too!  Apparently sponsored by Jack Daniel's, if the boards are to be believed.

Goose (Allen), From Fri. night, in one of the four N.H.L. games, the Toronto Maple Leafs, weren't scheduled to play Seattle Kraken, in Seattle.  It was the Winnipeg Jets.  Winnipeg, won 3-0.

  12. I'm from Toronto, ON., and moved around a few times outside of Toronto, but mostly lived in Brampton, and Bramalea.  From there, I moved to Gloucester, in Ottawa, ON., then to Abbotsford, B.C., on, and in the lower mainland, and moved to Comox, where I've been currently living, now, on Vancouver Island.  From Toronto, ON. to Comox, where I'm currently living is, 4,559.6 kilometres, but converting it to miles is 2,833.2, so rounding it to 3,000 is closer, than 2,500.

  13. This might be early to say because the concert isn't until July, but last week, for presale, V.I.P., and public tickets went on sale.  Madonna, is going on tour for promoting her 40th+ Anniversary called "the Celebration Tour", and in Vancouver, there is one, which is the first stop.  I've been seeing if tickets would sell out, and prices get cheaper.  I haven't seen her perform in person before.  On the Canadian Ticketmaster website, for a cheaper price, than what a lot of them have been, I bought a verified resale one.  It's a good seat, and not anywhere on the floors.  With Madonna developing a "serious bacterial infection", her 40th+ Anniversary "the Celebration Tour" July date in Vancouver, and the initial North American leg had, and needed to be postponed, and rescheduled.  Now, the Vancouver date is for Feb. 21, 2024.

I wanted to say that I did go to the rescheduled "Madonna - 40th+ Anniversary: the Celebration Tour" in Vancouver on Feb. 21.  I thought she, and the concert were phenomenal, exceptional, and spectacular.  I recommend anyone else not having trying to miss it.

  14. Toronto's next eight games are a five game home stand, and a three game road trip.  Tonight, they are in Toronto, to play against Vegas, which Toronto, lost 6-2, Thurs., to play against Arizona, which Toronto, won 4-2, Sat., to play against New York Rangers, which Toronto, won 4-3 in a shootout.  The 2023-24 N.H.L. season is three-quarters in it.  Next Mon., Toronto, plays Boston, which Toronto, lost 4-1, next Wed., to play against Buffalo, which Toronto, won 2-1 in overtime, next Thurs., in Boston, to play against Boston, which Toronto, lost 4-1, next Sat., in Montreal, to play against Montreal, which Toronto, won 3-2, and on the following Thurs., in Philadelphia, to play against Philadelphia, which Toronto, won 6-2.  At home, they are 18-12-2.  On the road, they are 20-7-6.  Auston Matthews, scored three goals to give him fifty-five in sixty-five games.

  16. The All-Star weekend was a success.  At the All-Star Skills Competition, and All-Star Game, Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, William Nylander, and Morgan Rielly, did really well, especially Auston Matthews, and William Nylander, when they came in third, and fourth place in the Skills Competion, and Auston Matthews' team won the All-Star Game.  Without being, and sounding biased to only saying by including Toronto Maple Leafs' players, the other players, who were selected to be there did a good job, and tried their best, too.  This week Toronto, has a two game home stand, and a road game.  Tonight, they are in Toronto, to play against New York Islanders, which Toronto, lost 3-2, Wed., they are in Toronto, to play against Dallas, which Toronto, won 5-4, and Sat., in Ottawa, to play against Ottawa, which Toronto, lost 5-3.  Auston Matthews, scored two goals to give him forty-two in fifty games.
