Vegas ticket arrived today. My SLC tickets will probably show up around 2 weeks prior to the show, if I remember the small-print right. All I know is that the SLC show is on a Thursday, and if I don't have them by the Thursday prior, I will be on the phone with somebody getting them, post-haste!

Got my ticket to the Vegas show on the first try: Section 16, Row B, seat 9. I didn't want the floor this time unless it was REALLY CLOSE, and wasn't about to through back something so close to Geddy's side. I may check back in a bit to see if anything else pops up, but I'm stoked about what I got!

 

So my early August is BUSY:

 

5 Aug - Rush at Usana (with my daughter)

7 Aug - Warped tour in SLC(for/with my daughter, just like last year)

14 Aug - Rush in VEGAS!!!! (solo)

 

STOKED!!!!!!!

 

Any other SLC folks making the trip, speak up and we can possibly meet up at the mini-con that day!

I threw many seats back as well, not happy with the location.  Good seats come up well after the sale starts because too many people get frustrated and give up. Two years ago for the Salt Lake show I tried for 40 minutes until I got a 3rd row seat center stage.  Yeah, I threw some back, and many other times it stated that my request couldn't be granted - but perseverance paid off. So, when the main sale opens on Friday, get on right at 10:00 and keep on trying even when it says no seats available.  The majority of seats will be available then, even in the front sections, and if you try for a few minutes, you will be successful. Get familiar with the ordering process - know where on the screen you need to click, use the tab key to switch fields more quickly, even put a sticky note on your monitor to know exactly where your cursor needs to be when you try again.

you are all correct, however: this pre-sale sucked. I don't know how people get front row. I've never even sniffed at the front row.

 

However, I am happy that I am going with my little girl.

Well, I am definitely hitting the SLC show, but if I go to Vegas also, I may fly since Southwest can get me round trip for life $150-170, so that ain't bad...
