  2. Six months later, this thing continues to grow on me.
  3. A great musician, fantastic Bass guitarist (as John Entwistle would say). Metallica truly lost someting that day.
  4. Just when I thought music couldn't get any worse!

    The Watchmaker

The only thing that is missing from CA IMO is an instrumental track. Like a really heavy Monky Buisness...

Looks wonderful, but I don't want that deluxe package. I'm sure the audio will be released separately as well. Steven said it won't Really? Oh well, I'll just get the flac rip from a torrent site. I always find it funny to download Steven's music

  10. QUOTE (Sheldon Cooper @ Sep 16 2012, 02:19 PM) QUOTE (Xanadu93 @ Sep 14 2012, 09:08 PM) I got in the car this morning, put my iPod on shuffle, and "Yours is No Disgrace" came on. Whetting my appetite, I decided to play The Yes Album. This was followed by Fragile and CTTE. I'm on Tales at the moment, and I'd forgotten that it's actually a really good album, asides from most of "The Ancient". (Leaves of Green saves me from skipping that song altogether.) I think I'm going to go all the way through Drama tonight. Also, I really paid attention to Bruford's drumming when listening to those records he was on... I can only imagine how Relayer would have sounded if he was on it. As good a rock drummer as Alan White is, Yes really lost something when Bruford left. It was the first time that a band member was replaced by someone who was not better than the person who left. Bruford was also the first member to leave by his own choosing. I'm glad he did http://lirama.net/static/images/albumthumbs/51269.jpg
  11. I was expecting some Magma on the list! I need to check out some of that italian prog, any suggestions?
  12. QUOTE (snowdogged @ Sep 6 2012, 01:48 AM) QUOTE (Soni @ Sep 5 2012, 05:47 PM) RT @TheCheezMusic: @asiageoff because Rush is not a coverband < Oh f**k off!! > That's a classic! Congrats to the boyz, they deserve! (And well done SW and Anathema!) That is so hilarious! What an asshole this guy is! This makes Rush winning this award a billion times better. I am so happy Rush pissed this jerk off!
  13. I lost someone who was like a brother to that shit. :'(

  16. QUOTE (HamiltonYYZ @ Sep 4 2012, 06:14 AM) I have The Colour Of Spring great album. I respect them for not keeping the same formula, I heard every album is more experimental than the previous, correct me if Im wrong. It's true, this formula, reached its apex with the brilliant Laughing Stock.
  17. QUOTE (circumstantial tree @ Sep 2 2012, 02:11 AM) I remember the tune "It's My Life" from 1984 from the album of the same name. That song holds some great memories for me. Too bad that shitty band No Doubt had to cover it. Horrid remake. Check this out.
  18. A few months ago, a friend came up to me and said I should check out two records Talk Talk had made in the late 80's early 90's. He said they were really good. At first I thought it was a joke, I mean, I considered them to do some sh*ty new wave band. But when I heard these two albums, I was blown away. Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock. They could very well be a double album, they're that similar, but are they good! The meeting point between, jazz, ambiant, post rock, and sometimes classical music. If you haven't heard them, you should check 'em out. Same for Mark Hollis' solo album, the fitting conclusion to the trilogy. http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/533007_4511911762940_144346627_n.jpg
  19. Why? Remain in Light is a masterpiece. That's what prog stands for, taking inspiration from everywhere and make it interesting. Here's to Belew
  20. http://www.stevesbeatles.com/cds/album-covers/sgt_pepper.jpg My dad had baught it for me on cassete! (that's right!) I'd spend hours staring at the cover, and being confused by the fact there are two groups of Beatles (the Pepper ones and the "Love Me do" one the left) A work of art.
